The communication from the PM company was excellent in the days/weeks leading up to our trip, during and then in preparation for our departure. Based upon earlier reviews, we were pleasantly surprised on how well supplied the unit was including towels, soap, and kitchen cleaning supplies. We didn't cook in much during our stay, but the kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans and gadgets as well as plates and cups/glasses. And the location was ideal. Easy access to the beach, a nice pool and close to everything on Tybee. We really enjoyed our time at Bay View Villas.

A Great Location for our Spring Break trip!

We really enjoyed staying at Bay Villas. Check in was easy, the condo was clean and as pictured, and when we locked ourselves out of the guest bathroom, someone was there within minutes to fix the issue! Would love to stay here again!

Nice and convenient location

Overall lovely spot for a vacation. Only slight negative was a slight miscommunication over a repair that had been scheduled prior to our arrival, and it was more an error on the maintenence/repair company than the rental company. Rental company staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

This was the worst stay we’ve ever had, and we travel a lot! First, was advertised as 3 bedrooms. NO, 2 bedrooms and a pull out couch, this for 6 adults when you want privacy! The main issue was the washer was 1/2 full with stagnant, green water, and the kitchen and laundry area smelled so badly! This was reported numerous times, and they said there was nothing they could do about it. They said property was owned by someone and they couldn’t get in touch with them??? And didn’t know who owned it! We book our stays according to amenities we need, and so far, two of two things were a no-go for us. The sheets on one of the beds had several blood stains on it, and the dust ruffle had brown crusty something all over it. Makes me wonder if the washer isn’t working, did the linens get changed/washed??? One last thing, the window on the outside on the first level no less, looks directly into the shower/tub. Nothing on the window and you can see from the waist up on an adult showering. We had to stuff the window with towels to cover it for privacy. If I had to rate this property, I would give it a negative number! No offer for help, compensation, etc. We were given the address for a laundromat!!!! Seriously. Very very dissatisfied and highly recommend not booking it! I have photos to support each of these claims, but apparently, management doesn’t care!

We had the best time!! The condo was clean and had everything we could’ve needed (including beach chairs, an umbrella, and even sand toys for the kids). The condo is literally right there on the beach; just a short walk and you’re right there (and the beach itself is not near as crowded as it usually is up the beach; which gave this mama some peace of mind with little ones wanting to run around). And we loved that we were close enough to all the restaurants, shops, etc but far enough that we weren’t staying in the middle of all the noise and “busy ness” of downtown. We’re already saving & planning to book here in 2026!!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean with amenities as listed. There were ample necessities provided (soap, bath towels, bath tissue, dish detergent & dishwasher detergent). The condo was comfortable with easy access to the beach and pool. There are tasty dining options within walking distance. The elevator was not operating through our stay, thankfully we were on the first level. The front bedroom with twin beds was very bright at night due to exterior walkway lights and was noisy as other guests wheeled luggage past. I was thankful I packed a sleep mask and sound machine otherwise sleeping would have been challenging.

First time at Tybee

We had a wonderful time at Tybee. Our condo was perfect during our stay. The only complaint about our condo is that the master bedroom frame is very squeaky with any little movement. This makes it very hard to sleep through the night.

Tybee Island family vacation

Great property on the North side of the island. Very quiet and peaceful. Loved being so close to the pool and beach. Neither were ever very busy. Walking distance to the Tybean coffee shop. It was our first time to the island and we loved how relaxing and laid back it was. The condo worked great for our family of 4. Very comfortable and had everything we needed for the week. There are a couple of beach chairs and boogie boards in the closet which was nice. Would highly recommend this property.
