This hotel needs renovation for sure , smell in room and it’s not clean, hotel is old and staff do what they can, but overall there is much better option in ubud for this price range Breakfast maybe ok but not more Pools very small, not more then 6 sun beds

Brukar inte kommentera hotell men detta blir ett undantag. Fantastiskt hotell med underbar personal. Bra läge med fantastisk pool och bra frukost.

Otroligt serviceminded personal, va mycket trevliga och gjorde allt de kunde för att förgylla vistelsen för sina gäster. Hotellet och poolområdena är utvändigt ganska slitna, börjar vara dags för en renovering. Maten i restaurangen är inte att rekommendera men frukosten var gedigen och god.

A slice of heaven
A wonderful getaway hotel for some nice r&r. Big clean rooms, wonderful gardens and great staff. Food was heavenly good, specially the local Balinese menu.

Fantastisk resort nära Ubud.
Rummet var vackert och rymligt, badrummet hade en fantastisk djungel utsikt. Personalen var underbara, vänliga och uppmärksamma. Gratis morgonyoga i en underbar studio och eftermiddag kaffe var ett plus. Resorten har två underbara poolområde speciellt infinitypoolen med en vacker utsikt. Frukosten var ingen buffé men var utsökt ändå. Resorten är en lugn plats att vila och njuta av semestern. Tack Wapa Di Ume för den underbara vistelsen, vi kommer definitivt att komma tillbaka.

Best place ever!
We had the absolute best experience ever with this hotel. The surroundings are beautiful and the staff went way beyond themselves to make our experience of Ubud the best and we love this place. They also have the best Balinese food we ever had at their restaurant Mr Wayan (and we been to Bali ones before). With excellent staff and a gorgeous view. We even came back just for the food every day even after we checked out from the hotel. If you get the chance to be served by Arik in the restaurant take It! She will make your experience the absolute best and she taught us a lot about Balinese food and culture, she is super kind and sweet. She’s been working at the hotel all from the beginning and made us feel right at home. And their peanuts sauce is to die for ;-) Wapa di ume will definitely be our second home and we really recommend this place! Can’t wait to go back!

Helt fantastiskt!
Älskade hotellet! Låg perfekt bara 5min från ubudcentrum och hotellet anordnade bil till och från varje timme. Infinitypoolen var helt otrolig! Och läget av hotellet mitt bland risfälten var magiskt. Servicen var oklanderlig och god mat i båda restaurangerna! Rekommenderar starkt!

Perfect service!
We stayed at Wapa di Ume for 6 nights in november and it was the perfect getaway if you want to get some rest. We travelled with a 7 month old baby and the staff were really helpful and service minded. I would recommend the hotel for families. The only downside is that you need to take a shuttle bus (provided by the hotel for free) to get to Ubud (takes about 15 min and leaves every hour). On the plus side, the hotel is located in a calm quite area so its nice to spend time at the hotel. The hotel serve afternoon tea for free every day.

Underbart hotell, fantastiska omgivningar. Det var vårt första stopp på vår Baliresa, toppenställe att komma ner i varv och in i semesterläge. Vänlig och omtänksam personal som glatt hjälpte oss med våra fortsatta reseplaner. Jag blev sjuk under vistelsen (inte på grund av hotellet!) och personalen var till stor hjälp för att jag skulle friskna till. Resten av resan på Bali var också bra, men inget gick upp emot Waka di Ume!

Such attentive staff, amazingly huge room with view. Breakfast was amazing. Had low expectations but everything was exceeeded. Rooms were expansive and beds so comfortable. What an enjoyable stay. Not far from town either but away from the hustle.

Loved everything about the property (ie. the pools were beautiful, clean, and excellently serviced by hotel staff. The rooms are the same. The staff is phenomenal. Very friendly and always professional.

Beautiful place. Love the peacefulness and quietness of this place. Not too far from Ubud shopping center. They have a shuttle to take you to the center and pick you up. All staff were friendly. Attentive and prompt to any concerns. We stayed there 8 days. Suprasa the manager was really nice, upgraded our room with a private pool when he noticed we were staying for couple days. Checked in on us to see how everything was and attentive to needs and concerns. We had breakfast here everyday overlooking the beautiful rice terrace, there was a good selection of choices. We were usually out exploring so we had lunch and dinner somewhere else. But the restaurant does serve lunch and dinner as well. The Infiniti pool was very enjoyable. My heart misses everyone at this beautiful resort.

Awesome trip
We stayed with 3 kids (aged 7,5,2) for our 9th anniversary trip. We got lots of surprises from the villa (petals in bath tub, petals on the bed, a delicious cake and even upgraded room). They made us feel special. Very nice, quiet and privacy villa. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast can be served at their cafe or in the room. The kids loved it!

I thoroughly enjoyed my 9 night stay at Wapa di Ume Ubud. This was my third visit to Ubud in the past five years, and I stayed at two other resorts on my previous trips. Wapa di Ume Ubud had turned out to be my favorite resort by far. For my future visits to Ubud, I will only stay here from now on. The hotel staff are so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant staff were so amazing. Everyone greeted me each time with a big, authentic smile. I felt like I was treated like family or a friend, not just as a guest. I highly recommend the villa with private pool. Everything I had at Mr. Wayan, Coffee and Eatery was exceptional, from their Indonesian selections to their Western selections. I am looking forward to returning to Wapa di Ume Ubud next year.

The peacefulness and the staff make this hotel outstanding . We got a free upgrade which was amazing and the rooms are wonderful . The tranquility of the surroundings are a welcome contrast to the chaos of Ubud centre where you can get a free hotel shuttle. Yoga and Lesminnie where both outstanding in their kindness and nothing ever seems to much to ask

Excellent mini villa.
The views are excellent and the service is extraordinary. The hotel is also very conveniently located near the art market and shopping area. Breakfast is really good too! Getting around within the property requires quite a lot of unsheltered walking.

This place was probably once amazing. Not at all anymore. The handle in our shower came right off. No hot water or pressure to begin with. They did fix it but would not use the tub for any reason. Both the tub and the toilet looked like they had been leaking and improperly fixed. Throughout the property there was mold on many of the outdoor surfaces. The breakfast was not good at all. One day the yogurt was warm. Another the scrambled eggs were not even close to cooked. The stench throughout the grounds was absolutely disgusting. I honestly have no idea how this has as many stars as it does. The only positive was the staff's friendliness.

The staff and service were wonderful. We stayed for one night last minute for a special occasion, and received an upgrade to a pool villa and a celebration cake. I also had a massage which was lovely. We had room service dinner which arrived quickly. We could hear the live music quite loudly from the room, but it stopped quite early (around 9).

We stayed for a week and had a very relaxing time and were looked after by the staff. The surrounds are beautiful, in the midst of rice fields; the room was spacious, clean and luxurious; the breakfasts were pretty good, especially if you stick to the Indonesian menu. It's not super-close to the heart of Ubud, but there's an hourly shuttle bus to get you in there and it's also cheap enough to get your own transport.

A l’écart de l’agitation d’Ubud, tout en étant à dix minutes en navette gratuite, l’hôtel est au bord des rizières. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil et attentionné, les chambres sont propres et belles. C’était vraiment un plaisir de séjourner là.

The people of Bali are wonderful and the staff at Wapa di Uma is no exception. The facilities of the resort and environment it is set in are absolutely amazing. We dined at the resort restaurant much more than I initially planned due to the hospitality of the staff working there. The resort focuses on your stay from the incredibly friendly personalities of the staff to the continuous cleanliness of the entire facility. The property sits against beautiful terraced rice patties and is loaded with tropical plants, flowers, and koi fish.

DON'T MISS THE BEAUTIFUL BALI COUNTRYSIDE
We wanted to experience the country side of Bali and it was exactly what we got. A lovely view over the rice padies and our own pool. The hotel food was excellent and the staff were great, lovely people. We had a small problem with insects but that was promptly taken care of by the hotel manager (Buli) and his staff. Thank you Buli we would certainly stay with you again when next we visit Bali.
