Lake Constance is 1.5 km away—about a 20-minute walk through the nature reserve along a scenic trail by the Aach river. Here you’ll find the free natural swimming beach with sunbathing lawn, the pile-dwelling village, the boat dock to Mainau Island, and the reptile house. Shops and bus and train stops are about 5 to 10 minutes away.

Parking for bicycles under the house canopy or for a motorcycle is available directly at the house. Cars can be parked before entering the cul-de-sac, across the street.
