  • Gorgeous vintage home built in 1915 but recently upgraded with modern amenities. Home has a beautiful lake front view with an old style front porch facing the lake. Very close to local shopping and restaurants. 1 hour from Orlando attractions, Daytona Beach, and Orlando International Airport. Lake Umatilla is a public boat-ramp lake access with excellent bass and bream fishing. 20 minutes from the Ocala National Forest. Home features a large outside gathering area which could be used for parties, weddings, or simply play corn hole games (provided). No pool but 10 minutes away from the Eustis Aquatic Center with a splash park and Olympic size pool right on Lake Eustis. Close to Alexander Springs and Wekiva Falls. Anglers are welcome with convenient charging station near parking area.

e absolutely loved our two-night stay over the Fourth of July weekend! Watching the fireworks from the front porch was such a special experience, and we also had a wonderful time exploring Mount Dora. The house is beautiful—a charming older home full of character and warmth. It was cozy, welcoming, and made our trip even more memorable. We would definitely love to come back. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful home. Very clean and spacious. The king bed was very comfortable. Love the view from the front porch in the morning while having coffee with the family! We will definitely stay again.

This was our second time to stay at the Rose and it was just as enjoyable as the first. Love the porch with the view of the lake. The home is very clean and welcoming. We were very comfortable here.

Family trip thru Orlando

Would stay here again when needing a place to stay while in Olando. Offered everything we needed for our stay and enjoyed the spacious porch and lake view.

This home was wonderful! The host was responsive and helpful. It was very convenient (walking distance) to the Palm Mansion where we were attending a wedding. Everything you need and more is already at the house with a sweet note from the owner! the back patio is so nice to sit out with coffee!

This property is beautiful, safe, and welcoming! This was our second stay and was just as great as the first time. Plenty of room for our family of 6. Close to everything we needed to be close to. Will definitely return in the future!

Wonderful location!

The Rose was the perfect location for our family reunion in Umatilla. We had ample room to spread out or gather together. We enjoyed sitting around the kitchen counter as we prepared meals and the time spent was incredible.

The Rose was a perfect place for our family as a base for our daughter's wedding at the Palm Mansion just around the corner. It was perfectly clean and had a lot of character that one would hope to find in a historic home. Thanks for the memories!!!
