âA very nice hotel indeed. Very good facilities, the details with fridge, microwave and safe in the room makes a big difference if you stay for more than a couple of days. Room and bed spacey and comfy. Hotel relaxing and quiet with only the odd Saturday evening party. And a wonderful view over Durban, Umgeni river and the Indian ocean, all at once if your room face South.

âStay was good. Shower đż head needs some attention. Leaking. Mattress needs to be changed slowly caving in in the centre. Sleeper couch mattress is horrendous. Sleeper couch was grubby. Needs a good clean. Overall the place was spotlessly clean. Came across 1 cockroach. Pool was good.

âBack for a second year. The property is a beautiful house in North Durban, near a small shopping area. My bedroom was very large and well-appointed, with a large bathroom attached. This year, things are not quite as new and well-maintained as last year.
I enjoyed meeting other Comrades runners staying at the house, this year including elites.
The best thing about this house is the housekeeper Nklaka, who is unbelievably friendly, caring and efficient.â
