Terrible accommodation
Don’t do it to your family. Old decrepit unit. The only good thing is location. The agent communicated well. But when we complained about numerous issues, all we got was an apology. No refunds, no real substance, just sorry. Place was flooded from the rain though the windows that don’t close. Doors falling off. Dirty couches, the list goes on…

Another amazing holiday at The Breakers.
Another amazing holiday at the the Breakers. so close to the beach and so much for the kids to do (pools, slides and kids activities) and the staff were great. Only down side was that there was no aircon at reception so it was very uncomfortable having to visit front desk. I also think it would make a big difference if the deck chairs at the lower and upper pool were upgraded. Thank you to everyone at The Breakers for an amazing holiday!

Disappointing
I was disappointed with the unit in general. Firstly our host hadn’t informed the receptionist that we were arriving and we waited a while for everything to be verified. Next the condition of the unit was not great. The curtains literally fell off the rails. The bedding was not clean and after we complained we told the bedding is only changed every 4 days. The towels were not changed. The bedding is really run down and needs to replaced urgently. On the third day, the hot water run out before could shower.

Dear Pulane, thank you very much for this feedback. Upon arrival there seems to have been miscommunication with the resort and we do apologies for the 2 minute delay upon checking in. We have informed housekeeping regarding the problem and agree that this is not acceptable, but please rest assured... Bedding is changed with every arrival and departure. For guest staying longer then 3 days, the bedding is changed upon the 4th day. Towel are changed on every 3rd day. The hot water will also be investigated as this is the first time we have heard of this problem. Once again, we thank you for the feedback and urge our guest to contact us immediately if there are any problems during your stay, as we would like to ensure you have a wonderful and relaxing stay. Dear Pulane Thank you for your honest feedback. We strive for excellence, but sometime drop the ball. And off cause we then do all in our power to rectify our mistakes. Your input is valuable and we take it as a leaning school. Humble apologies for your delay at the reception we take full responsibility for this mistake and have since implemented a add on to our system to prevent this from happening again. As for the curtains - So lovely the arch view and modern build but a schlep to keep curtains on the arched rail. We are getting a expert on curtain rails to come up with a solution on this and hopefully resolve this matter. We do a fresh change on every arrival and in between for every 5 day booking. Your linen were fresh clean linen but unfortunately the very stubborn stain that our cleaning department could not remove were missed. Humble apologies on this. The geyser in the unit is maximum capacity size we are able to fit in the space. Usually the 200 liter geyser is more than sufficient for a family of 6. Not sure why it ran out. Will investigate. Peaceful getaway
The resort has really beautiful gardens and borders onto the northern most part of the Umhlanga boardwalk. The pools are great with spacious open areas around them. Bar service at the pool is slow. The unit itself was fairly well maintained and clean. Daily servicing was good. Would visit again.

So blown away!
This apartment was extremely beautiful! The photos do not do it justice. The view of the nature reserve was truly something wonderful. The staff at reception and the restaurant are so friendly and have the biggest smiles on there faces (obviously they were wearing their masks but you could see their eyes light up!) The cleaning staff were also always so friendly and greet everytime you walk past. The apartment is so beautifully decorated, we definitely felt like queens! The breakers did have a rough few months but they have certainly redeemed themselves! There is poolside music and so many activities are provided. Top destinations (manages the apartment) were so on top of everything. We booked at 8pm the night before and everything was confirmed and finalized by 9am (a Sunday I may add) the next morning! Thank you to everyone! I haven’t had a holiday this wonderful in forever!
