The cottage was so quaint and adorable. We absolutely loved the stay. We would highly recommend this location. The host was very attentive and helpful with a lot of things even gave us locations for different things around the area. I would so much recommend staying here we are also considering another time coming back.

Great summer stay! Beautiful view of the lake. Host provided excellent accommodations. Loved the jacuzzi and the paddle boards, kayak, canoe, and dock. We didn’t have much success fishing, but still enjoyed life on the water.

Everything about the lake house is fantastic. Definitely our favorite place on VRBO and a place we will keep coming back to year after year.

Lakefront Beauty

This is the second year our family stayed here. We had a wonderful time in the lake and hot tub, and the fishing was awesome! Definitely planning on going again next year!

Excellent vacation experience

Our family had a fantastic time at Lewis Lake. The cottage was clean and spacious. We had a great time fishing, kayaking and relaxing on the lake.

Perfect spot for a getaway. Cozy with all necessary gadgets, grill, canoes, paddle boat, fire pits, fire place. Overall, I recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet front lake property for the family. The host was very professional and always responded promptly to any questions.

Great for families

This cute lake house was perfect for our family of three and dog. Great fishing off the dock and in the lake via canoe. Amenities were plentiful and we especially enjoyed paddle board, washer/drier, yard & games, hot tub, and fire pit. Kitchen had ample supplies for cooking & dining. Decor was quaint and beds were very comfortable. We’d definitely come back!

Family Fun Ski Weekend

We had a great time over the MLK Weekend for skiing at nearby Elk Mountain. It is a small cozy cabin on the lake. Best if you have an all-wheel or 4-wheel vehicle to get to the cabin from the access road.

Summer Vacation

House was smaller than we expected, but had everything you would need. Loved the lake and the privacy. Enjoyed kayaking and floating on our rafts. Always a breeze from the lake. Great fire pit. Nice place to relax, laugh with friends and read a book.

The property was quiet and clean and very dog and kid friendly! The Lake is beautiful and quiet .There is not a lot to do in the area so pack your games and food ! We would go back in a heartbeat!!! The owner was available anytime for questions or suggestions for restaurants in the area!!Kathy 2025

New Years Ski Trip

My family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids age 8&12) had a great stay! We arrived pretty late the first night and they had the house all lit up so we could find it easily! The house was as described, we found it very comfortable for our family. The kitchen is large and well appointed. The lake views were beautiful and property well maintained. Great proximity to Elk Mountain for Skiing... Definitely recommend!

Relaxing visit

My husband and I had a wonderful relaxing long weekend. The check in process was easy and the house was clean. We enjoyed taking the canoe and kayaks out on the water. We appreciated having a nice hot tub right outside as the afternoon got colder. It was nice having wood available to build a fire in the fire pit. I would have liked to stay a little longer.

We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage during our snowboarding trip to Elk Mountain. The house was spotless and incredibly inviting, with a great wood stove that made the entire space feel extra warm and comforting after long days on the slopes. The beds were very comfortable, and there were plenty of blankets to keep us cozy—even with wind chills dropping to -5 outside.The hot tub was a great added bonus (even though we didn’t get a chance to use it), and having a slow cooker available was such a thoughtful touch. We loved being able to come back from a cold day on the mountain to a warm, ready-made dinner. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the tools and utensils we needed to cook comfortably. Just be sure to bring your own spices, as stores are a bit of a drive if you forget something.Overall, this cottage was the perfect home base for a winter getaway—clean, cozy, well-equipped, and clearly cared for. We’d absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing mountain escape.

AMAZING!

This was such a wonderful family getaway! Norbert is a great host! Very kind and easy to communicate with. The cottage is very private and super close to the water. My nephew and i enjoyed kayaking on the lake and we all enjoyed the fantastic view the whole time. Very well appointed, stocked with anything you could need and had new high quality kitchen gagets and appliances. We didn't leave the property from Friday until Monday because we were already in the best place we could be, there was no need to go anywhere else! We really look forward to having a chance to stay here again. Thanks for everything!
