Varför Ägare Välj Union Pier: Vi ville ha en avkopplande rolig plats så att vi kunde komma ifrån vårt dagliga omgivning men ändå nära till Chicago. Mycket ren och säker område för våra barn. Ett kvarter från stora uncrowded stränder. Många saker att se och göra och alla i närheten. Stora gallerier och restauranger. Kan lätt pendla till Chicago om det behövs. Bara rätt balans av allt. Incheckning / utcheckningstid är östra tidszonen.

We stayed for 3 nights with 4 adults, our dog and my toddler. My son is about 2 and we were able to use Howard’s crib and he was very comfy in it and slept the whole night no problem! There were plenty of books and toys too that my son loved to look at. The house has everything you could need and we loved the proximity to the beach and how walkable everything was. Laundry on-site, the grill and enclosed patio was amazing too. We would love to come back next year!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The cottage was incredibly well stocked, clean, and left us extremely impressed. We particularly enjoyed hosting our extended family on the large patio. Howard was an excellent host and very attentive to inquiries and was available during and after our stay.

Immaculate Charming Cottage - Perfect Location

I cannot recommend this cottage highly enough! I will return myself to this property. The cottage is immaculate, so incredibly clean. The interior and exterior space is so comfortable and charming. The cottage is very spacious and is so well appointed. Howard has thought of everything for your stay. There are 30 + windows in this home letting in so much light and breeze. The neighborhood is peaceful with just a short walk to the beach. Howard has a wagon, beach chairs, towels umbrella, etc all waiting for you. Staying at this property could not have been easier. This property would be great for couples traveling together or a family. There is a large dining room indoors and a nice outdoor area for dining and lounging as well. The cottage is pet friendly which is a huge plus as well. I cannot wait to return. If you are looking to stay in Union Pier, look no further. This cottage is a lovely and incredibly comfortable place to stay.

Charming house

This is a perfectly relaxing house a short walk to a wonderful sandy beach. Everything you need. The two bedroom and bathroom areas are separate from each other for nice privacy. The neighborhood is very quiet. We plan to return for our third stay.

Great spot!

The cottage was completely charming and had a fantastic layout for our family, with the highlights being the luxurious master suite and the extensive outdoor area. The location was perfect. Union Pier is the best little beach town in the area, in our opinion, and the cottage is tucked in a great spot close to the beach. Surpassed expectations!

A wonderful stay

We loved Howard’s home! The location couldn’t be beat - two blocks to both a beautiful beach and delicious bakery. The house was cozy and well equipped with kitchen and beach items. There was no crib as seen in the photos but there is a pack and play available for use. Howard was wonderful to communicate with. We loved our stay and hope to be back!

Perfect beach vacation

This house was perfect for our group. Easy walk to the beach and well equipped with beach chairs, towels, wagon. The house itself was even better than it looked in the pictures. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and eat in for most of our meals. The air conditioner worked well which was essential during the heat spell we had. Howard was there to meet us at check in and helped us with one small problem we had with a key during our stay. We couldn’t have asked for more from our vacation! We would definitely stay here again!

The Light House

This is a bright, comfortable house all on a single floor. The master bedroom and bath are totally separate from the other bath and two bedrooms. Spacious deck areas and very private. Just a laid back, casual experience.

Best Stress Reliever Available

This house and it's location are about as close to perfect as you can get. The house was clean, comfortable and very nicely appointed. The location of the house in relation to the beach is just great. Very very walkable and Howard provides a little wagon and beach goodies. Union Pier is a very walkable and friendly town. It's growing and my personal hope is that it does not grow to much to fast. This is just really hard to beat.

Wonderful Family Vacation!

This cottage was perfect for our family vacation! It has a nice living room where we could all be together indoors, and a nice deck area where we could be together outside! The outdoor shower was such a nice bonus...my sister & my son used it everyday! The beach was just a quick walk away (4-5 min), and the cottage had a cute area where we could wash sand off our feet (little frogs). My son (age 7) just loved it! The cottage was so cute and had all the comforts of home-oven, dishwasher, microwave, air conditioning, etc. There are so many books & games that were available to us. And thank you for letting us use your wagon...it came in so handy to get all our stuff to the beach! We all had our separate bedrooms for privacy as well. Howard was so quick to respond when we reached out. Thank you for renting your adorable cottage to our family. We really enjoyed our time there!

Home Away From Home

We had a great family vacation. This property was wonderful - clean, well cared for, and had everything you would need for a beach vacation. The owner's were very responsive to any questions we had. And the location is perfect. My daughters enjoyed walking to local places to eat, I loved being just a few blocks from the beach, and my mom spent hours reading on the back deck. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Union Pier.
