“I stayed 8 nights for work in the neighborhood. Huge room, good bed, kitchenette, dishwasher, coffee maker, even two owen's. I highly recommend this place and will stay here again. The only thing missing was a bar at the hotel but I can also recommend the Fatheads Brewery within 20 minutes walking distance. ”

“My wife and I ended up with a suite that we didn't need but it was the last room available. So with that being said the kitchen looked like it was last updated in the seventies because of the cabinets and countertops. However although we didn't use anything except the refrigerator it seemed to be all very clean and functional. The beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean but again dated and only came with a bar soap and a small bottle of shampoo no other amenities.

“The room smelled smoke, the toilet vas dirty, the floor was dirty, there was an old used towel in the shower, the toilet paper was almost empty and there was no new paper on the room. But the bed was pretty comfortable. ”

“I enjoyed my stay, just as I did one year ago. All staff that we interacted with were friendly and accommodating. I expect to be back again next year. Thanks for your hospitality.”
“This is our third time staying here. The property is charming and unique. It is located near the heart of the city and so much can be reached by walking down Franklin St. and the adjacent neighborhoods staring at the rich collection of antique homes. Nice common areas, a fully stocked kitchen and plenty of coffee help the quests meet and chat. Check-in is easy. Off street parking that is in a locked and gated lot behind the building is a big plus. We will stay again. ”

“Lovely building in a not so great area, unfortunately didn’t feel safe walking around. Lots of homeless, people constantly begging for money, people very out of it and so much pot smoking (I know this is legal here but we as Europeans aren’t used to it) The Roost itself is so nice the rooms are huge and spotless clean. Unfortunately we didn’t have the lovely big windows like the pictures only 2 small windows high up that couldn’t see out of and no windows in the bedroom, kitchen or bathrooms....
“This hotel is really a unique experience. They treat you like royalty. Our room was small but had a ton of character. Only had one spot for one suitcase, so we used the large window sills for the other one. There is really no place to park, so we used the valet parking which was $52.00. But they unload your luggage out of the car and take it to the room for you. By the time we text to get our car, it was there and they had loaded our luggage into and we were ready to go. Great place to stay with...
