“Zelda Dearest felt like a cross between a hotel and a B&B, and we totally enjoyed our stay, Our room was one of the best we have ever experienced (I’m a room snob), and the breakfast was phenomenal (Vege Frittata, chocolate banana bread, blueberry muffins, biscuits and jam, overnight oats, berries, yogurt, OJ). I’ve done both, and I much preferred the self parking over the other hotels’ valet-only option. Depending on where your room is located, there can be a lot of stairs to traverse, same as...

“My wife and I chose this location to celebrate our 25 wedding anniversary. We loved our stay at the Inn! The staff greeted us on the porch as we pulled up to the house. We stayed in the Arbor Room and loved every aspect of relaxing in the house when we were not touring Asheville. The porches meant as much to us as our own room for just enjoying cookies and coffee, and chatting with the other guests. If you stay several days, everyone feels like family. We would certainly stay here again...

“Spacious room, despite the road noise. This room has a large balcony patio but no furniture to even enjoy it. The pull out couch is not what you may expect not a true pull out with mattress more of a foldout onto the floor. Upon check in we were told housekeeping every other day, but apparently that starts after 3 nights of stay??? Family of 4 in a room means you will likely run out of things and trash will accumulate. Seems like staff doesn’t really truly know housekeeping policy. Otherwise...

“We had a great stay. The inn was beautiful and the receptionist very helpful. The bathroom was a bit small, but that is to be expected in an older home. We really enjoyed the breakfast provided. It was a very quiet place to relax.”
