âThis hotel was gorgeous! We arrived late so we didnât spend any time around the area so I'm not sure how that is. I will say it is very loud especially at night outside. I swear the same car kept driving back and forth on the street outside of our room and it was SO loud that was the only thing we werenât happy with. â
âWhat a lovely gem of a boutique inn! Conveniently located to shops, restaurants, the VMFA and one of the prettiest neighborhoods in Richmond. This place exudes southern hospitality and charm. Amazing wine and cheese, amazing breakfast, and just amazing all around. We will be back!â

âThe Commonwealth manages to capture a classic yet modernized feel. Desk staff and valets were friendly and helpful. Rooms and common areas were clean, room was fairly spacious, area was quiet. Parking was $37/night, which is expensive, but not out of line with other hotels. Good stay overall, served our needs. Recommended if you need to stay downtown.â

âThis was our 2nd time staying at this hotel. We enjoy the cleanliness of the hotel and room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower was spacious, clean and water pressure was good. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Easy to walk or Uber to lots of restaurants, bars and attractions. The pool and hot tub were clean and towels well stocked. The temperature of the water was a bit uncomfortable though. The pool was a little too cold and the hot tub too hot to really enjoy for...
