âWe had an afternoon tour to visit the floating islands of Titicaca and without us requesting it, Juan appeared in his boat towards the end of the tour to take us to the hotel where the rest of his family greeted us. We were instantly charmed by the beautifully of the island, the rooms and accompanying deck where we spent most of the evening watching the sunset, stars and the glimmering lights of Puno.
