Paradiset!
En avkopplande semester på ett fantastiskt hotell! Underbar lugn folktom strand. Bra spa på hotellet och yoga på morgonen vid havet. Kort transfer från flygplatsen och enkelt att ta en taxi om man vill shoppa etc.

How is this place 5 stars? Maybe once upon a time when it opened. But now it’s very rundown. My room had dead in insects everywhere upon check-in, room also had a strong smell of urine and musty. Can’t get rest as so much noise from both other guests and staff. Breakfast was mediocre at best.

They were doing construction the whole time we were there! They would work on it till really late at night. On our last night i had to call 2x's to have them stop construction as I could not sleep with the pounding and saw noise. Overall the stay was great minus the construction. Chef Abishek was amazing! Made us the perfect meal and would ALWAYS check on us!

La propiedad se encuentra en una localización muy tranquila y se puede disfrutar muy bien la playa , el hotel muy bonito y los jardines hermosos, al igual la comida deliciosa, sin embargo su limpieza de la habitación no fue la mejor, del baño salía un olor muy desagradable y las paredes del baño con un poco de moho tuvimos que pedir que la limpiaran de nuevo, se ven instalaciones un poco dañadas sobre todo el baño y muebles un poco viejos.

3 star resort by Western standards
Overall the hotel is well appointed with beach front access and lovely, warm sand with little to no garbage. The groundd of the hotel are well maintained, for Indian standards, and are very beautifully landscaped. This is similar to a 3* resort in the Caribbean. The rooms are a bit dated, the beds needs replacing and the use of satin bed covers and pillow cases is a bit off putting due to visible staining. The common areas are in need of modernization as the theme of Hollywood needs to stay a bit more relevant. There are no activities anywhere in the resort with the exception of a carrom board and some paid archery. The outside kids area is great with lots to play on. The pool is well maintained though we did have to alert them off several insects living in the pool (pool chemicals need to be increased). We visited the spa and it was well done. There were only 2 restaurant choices available when we went (Nov 2022), Poseidon's grill (beach front bar) and the buffet. The beach front was great, the food was excellent, fresh and no "after effects", though the prices are around $18CAD/1100INR for sushi roll and about $10/550INR for alcoholic beverages. Be careful when purchasing the grilled seafood, the price is per grm (4 Tiger prawns was about $24/1300INR). The buffet is good, Dinner and lunch buffet was good, though 95% Indian food only with 1 thai curry and 1 pasta though they claim to be a multi cultural food selection. Great dessert!

Place seems like it was never taken care of. Mold on all outdoor furniture. Drinks are terrible. Pool bar was closed said due to Covid. Lobby is kept great but after that place is a dump. No music anywhere place is just dry no excitement not sure where it gets it’s reviews from or who’s doing it but this is not a good place for vacation. On a good note staff is great not their fault how the place is kept. Probably poor management or just lack of the Planet Hollywood feel. No beach chairs or service by the pool. No drink service by the pool. Beach bar crew is great very accommodating hookah was perfect. Ac was cold in the room.

Property was ok,rooms were not what you see in planet hollywood in other countries. The property was rated as a 5 star property but it is definetly not it is more a 4 star property. No activity as you see in other planet hollywood. Spa was really good.

Decent Place to Stay
It was a decent stay. The property is slightly dated with some visible signs of aging in the rooms. We had eight rooms and thought we should have been offered rooms together /adjacent ones. Instead they were scattered showing poor customer insight on part of person allocating rooms.

Planet Hollywood is a beautiful resort. Very well maintained. Specially now during covid they were trying so hard to disinfect everything and make sure that guests were keeping the masks on in the common areas. I didn't like the refillable water bottles idea during covid.

A good resort for relaxing vacation
After staying in Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas and loving it, I was excited to stay at the property in Goa. We had a bit of a slow start with the unfriendly reception staff, who were not very accommodating to our needs. And gave us the the first room which had malfunctioning items and did not live up to expectation. However, once I interacted with management who was very responsive, we were given a wonderful room which we completely enjoyed staying in. The service and special care was taken by Brian Rodrigues and his team, Nisha, Ravi, Jesus, Royston. They were wonderful in their efforts, always alert in their roles and very sweet to interact with. We also dined at both Poseidon's Cove and Planet Dailies and here too we met with the best in service from Chef Rodney, Karl, Tukaram and enjoyed delicious food served to us on the buffets and a-la-carte, with Goan specialties . The Resort is spacious and well laid out with games and fun at the lobby area, then a huge pool with a jacuzzi section and then the beautiful green lawns, which take you all the way to Utorda beach. It was good to see Carlos on duty at the pool he is very particular about maintaining hygiene and at the same time making guests comfortable. The beach is so clean and peaceful and we would go there to see the sunset every evening.

When going to Goa choose Planet Hollywood
Planet Hollywood Goa was definitely a 5 star experience. When we arrived we were greeted with a tropical juice and friendly staff. Subha was the perfect hostess. She offered us late checkout because our flight wasn’t until late evening. I utilized the spa and was pampered with the best pedicure by Sewzel. I wanted to eat at the pool but didn’t want snacks, so Wilbert ordered me a special dish from the main kitchen and it was delicious. We had our clothes laundered within hours, which was unexpected. We were so relieved that this was actually a 5 star hotel, considering some countries interpretation of 5 stars are not accurate. The landscape was extravagantly tropical. They offer meditation and yoga every morning on the lawn. If I’d know that before we took a yoga retreat at bamboo yoga retreat, I would’ve just booked there instead. The resort has its own beach and restaurant and bar. Subha also upgraded our room to a pool view which was awesome. The rooms are soundproof so I did not hear any noise from the outside. My friend is a marvel’s comic nerd, and our room was a Batman theme. He loved it, including all of the ambiance lighting. I definitely recommend this resort for a 5 star experience.

Had a fab stay in Goa, booked pool view hotel room which had an amazing view and the hotel was fantastic. We did however feel the charge for the New Year’s Eve party was way too much for what it was (music was ok not great, food was limited and cold by the time you get it). The restaurants at the hotel are really expensive compared to the beach shacks which serve amazing food. Cabs are super expensive and they con you so much but that the way it is, it’s all privatised. Each hotel has their own drivers and other drivers aren’t allowed to pick you up from the hotel front which was annoying. The hotel has everything, gym, spa, pool, games in the lovey late check out options, is literally on the beach front. They do not have a concierge so would recommend doing your research beforehand. The area is very quiet compared to other beaches but if I wanted some downtime and relaxation I would definitely come back!!

Great resort-no "resort amenities or activities!
The hotel is very nice. The service is pretty good, although not as good as other hotels we've experienced in India. They could take some tips from India chains such as the ITC for service. However, shout out to Lana in the restaurant, who saw the staff was taking painfully long to get to us and stepped it up, she went above & beyond all the days we went in there, and we are thankful for her kind words, great conversation and go-getter attitude. She is a true gem!!! The hotel lacks activities of any kind which is strange for a "beach hotel". We checked into another Goa hotel after this one, and they had activities for guests. There was limited music by the pool, also strange, and no beach chairs. PH please have music by the pool, and beach chairs!

One of the nicest and cleanest places I have stayed in on my travels! The service, the food, all the super staff made this an amazing place to stay. Add to that the gorgeous beach, wonderful pool and totally relaxing spa and you’ve got a great combination for a chilled holiday!

The Hollywood theme itself is fantastic. The Wall decor is very tastefully done. The gardens are beautiful and the beach is clean! I feel that a magnifying mirror should be attached on the bathroom wall for hair and makeup. It's a must. Small children should stay away from Jacuzzi as couples want to relax during vacation. A kidde pool is right next to it but still children kick and splash water and play balls in Jacuzzi which is totally unacceptable and irritating. A clock is needed on the bar wall near the pool to be aware of time.

Godt standard hotel. Det lå dog lidt for isoleret efter min smag. God strand og god service. Det er dog svært, at se på når en overtjener overfuser en anden tjener. En anden gang kunne jeg nok godt finde på at blande mig.

Nice hotel with average service
The hotel is nice, if you have HB/AL and don't need outside it's territory. Rooms, garden, beach, breakfast, pool - everything was great. However, they need to work with their customer service. When we arrived, they simply gave us a room key without providing with such essential info about breakfast time, wi-fi pass and hotel's restaurants. We had to ask them for this later. Service during breakfast wasn't satisfying as well: once we asked for a coffee three times before we got it, and had to wait about 25 minutes. The same with eggs: we had a breakfast at 7:30 am once, alone in the restaurant, and even in this case we had to wait our omelettes for 20 minutes. Also be prepared that stores are far from the hotel, and there are only few places to eat nearby. So don't expect live outside of the hotel. PS don't try to turn on ceiling fan. It sounds like it's going to cut you, and it's definitely impossible to sleep or even simply listen to it.
