“Great room for traveling. Loved the microwave, kettle, and fresh water in the common area. Checked in with my 16 year old son, quick trip to grocery store, then wonderful little restaurant downstairs where the kid discovered he loves fish empanadas, ate on the balcony, ordered more empanadas, met the restaurant staffs husband (a tour guide) and got number so next time we are in San Ignacio we go cave tubing, slept well, then up and out early for adventure. “Calico Jack's in a hidden gem in Belize! You really feel like you are in the jungle on their lush grounds. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and they clearly care about their guests. We loved the activities they offer, such as the zip lining only a 10 min walk from our room.
Be sure to stay for breakfast and order the Stuffed Fry Jacks, they were the best we had in Belize!

“Amazing place, guides were incredibly knowledgeable about the land and the Mayan culture. The food was delicious, and the place was just beautiful. Onsite hikes in the rain forest and floating the river in inner tubes are well worth it. Also worth seeing the Mayan ruins and cave exploring were well worth it.”

“For anyone looking for a small beautiful hidden gem resort close to San Ignacio, I'd highly recommend Villa Massis in Bullet Tree Falls! It's only a quick 10 min drive into San Ignacio. We had a 2-bedroom suite for the 4 of us and it was perfect. We booked airport transportation, transfer to Placencia, several rides into San Ignacio and all of our tours with them. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us.”

“We had the best time at Chaa Creek. From the time that we were picked up at the airport, the warmth, the attention to detail, and the overall quality of service was amazing. “I only have positive things to say about this hotel. It exceeded our expectations. The location is PERFECT. Right next to all the tour operators, the town square, restaurants, the market, the bus to Xunantunich, etc.
The bed was really big and comfortable. Slept like a baby. During a month of travelling this was by far the best sleep we had. The room was quiet and dark as well, and AC provided perfect temperature for once.
