Hotell nära Vägsstation - Okuhida Varma Källor Gokamitakara

“Miyama Ouan is the kind of hotels I rarely go to, but where you get everything expected and even more. The service is amazing, the room was simply gorgeous with a private bath, view on the surroundings mountains, and common areas (Japanese bath, TV room, tea room) for enjoying every little minute of the stay. The dinner and the breakfast were out of this world, and the Hida beef was just the best beef ever. The room was pricy, but for such standards and at such a location (in the middle of...

“One of our highlights during the time we spent in Japan. This is a cozy traditional Ryokan. The building is a little older, however that only adds to the charm. Staff were kind, helpful and welcoming. They also offer great dining experiences, where we enjoyed the BEST dinner of our entire trip. Additionally, the private onsen areas were sublime. Views and location is also stunning. Super happy we decided to spend two nights here and strongly recommend!”

“温泉が宿泊場から少しだけ歩いた離れにあって　予約が必要って言われた時は　びっくりしましたが　それはそれで楽しく　普通にいつでも予約は空いてました。ほぼほぼプライベートです。ずっとワンコと居れて最高でした。”

“If you want a traditional Japanese experience and get away from the main towns, then this hotel is for you. Yes, you can take the Western rooms, but the Japanese rooms will give you a better local vibe. If you take the breakfast and dinner option, then be prepared not to eat anything else. They supply yukata's and belts and you'll feel more comfortable being in traditional garb. It's a slog out and back to Matsumoto, so just make that a one-off day trip. Hirayu is much closer (15-mins) now the...

“We’ve read the reviews of other people before the visit and we did not know what to expect. We stayed at the property for two nights and we were quite happy with our stay. Dinner and breakfast were very good, private onsens were amazing. Private onsens could use a good scrub (that was the only con for our stay). Access is via a bus from Takayama 1.5h - plenty of walks around. ”

“靴はロッカーに預け、全館スリッパで過ごすので快適です。宿泊者限定で、隣のホテルの温泉にも入れました。二つの温泉を体験できてお得感です。どちらも良いお湯です。食事はバイキング形式でしたが好きなものを美味しくいただきました。平湯バスターミナルに近く、上高地観光に最適でした。”

“Good hotel for relaxing. Their dinner and breakfast is a set menu, be prepared for a different Japanese experience. The Onsen is nice, nice views, but no tattoos. No English among staff. Public transport is OK, there is a bus stop just outside. ”
