  • Designed for ease, this condo is ideal for guests looking for a comfortable and simple retreat during their time on the mountain. Enjoy the use of a kitchenette built into a single console to save precious space. The table space can be used for an intimate breakfast or as a space to check email between excursions to the mountain. Feel free to work out on the balcony and enjoy the view of the valley! Guests of this condo will be able to enjoy use of the shared amenities during their stay, such as three hot tubs and the heated outdoor pool.

    Of course, the biggest draw is the slopeside location for prime ski-in/ski-out access. The building features a front desk and concierge in main lobby, with the popular El Sabor restaurant, great for takeout or grab-and-go meals, just off the main lobby as well. On the first floor you'll find the business center, pool and hot tubs! Should you need ski gear, Charter Sports is right on the second floor, catering to skiers of all levels. Also on the second floor are coin operated washers and dryers. Off the property you'll find Vail General store and Lionshead Liquors just around the corner. All nearby Lionshead restaurants and shops are a short distance away for when you're not spending your time on the slopes. Adventure Ridge at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola operates day and night, in both winter and summer, for unbeatable family fun!

Great location! Loved the ski valet, complimentary shuttle and friendly staff. Tim’s were lovely. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot

The location is amazing! The property was just as described, not a huge room but all we needed. Staff and amenities were great. Loved being steps from the slopes and free shuttle was great!! Highly recommend!!

Great location and so comfortable

My son and I took a quick ski trip. The location and ease were perfect. Room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Staff was helpful and accommodating. We would definitely book this again.

Absolutely Perfect

Everything about this room, location, and the amenities is perfect. The room is updated and very clean. There is a ski shop in the basement, wonderful restaurant downstairs, and a hot tub, pool, and sauna open all winter. Can’t wait to return for my next ski trip!

Location, Location, Location

Perfect for ski in/ out. You park your car when you get there and you don’t need to move again until you leave. Plenty of restaurants with in waking distance. If I had to say something negative, it would be there where no cups or utensils. I would definitely stay here again

Lion Square Lodge Unit 472 - FABULOUS

The picture of this unit is definitely accurate. From the magnificent, comfortable decor to all the amenities we could have possibly needed, our stay in Unit 472 made our Vail getaway quite special! The unit was immaculate; more than enough drawer & closet space, new microwave, mini-fridge, coffee pot, hair dryer and toaster were used and appreciated. Even the well designed bathroom deserves 5 stars. The employees we encountered were helpful and friendly. Extremely well located to Lionshead, the gondola, and bus stop. We will be back for ski season and look forward to staying in this unit.

NO A/C in this property

THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING in this property! I looked over the listing again on VRBO and it does not say this anywhere. It was so hot in the room at night that we were unable to sleep well. We slept with the door open to the outside balcony/parking lot every night and it was still so hot! I consider it false advertising that it is not written in the description, especially considering the price we paid. I'm sure this property is fine during the winter, but I would not recommend staying here in the summer. Also, the parking lot is packed. When we were ready to leave our car was blocked in (due to the lack of parking). The valet guy and my husband tried to push the car out of the way. They were finally able to find the owner of the car and move it. Lastly, the handle to turn the shower on must have been so old it was stripped. The shower ran for 2 hours and could not be turned off. After two calls to the front desk, someone finally came to fix it. On a positive note, the location is nice and the pool is very nice with a pretty view.
