5 Person Holiday Home in Valdemarsvik

This well-equipped holiday home is set right by lake Gåsen and offers a beautiful view as well as a tranquil environment. It is located 10 kilometres from the little town of Valdemarsvik. The one-storey holiday home features a large family room with a dining area, a sofa suite, a TV and a wood burning stove. The family room features large windows and opens onto the terrace where you will find a parasol, outdoor furniture, a grill, and a large trampoline for the children. There is also plenty of space for the children to play in the garden. The kitchen has all you need to cook as well as a dishwasher. There are two bedrooms, both with a lovely view of the lake, one with a comfortable double bed, the other with two single beds. There is also an extra bed. The bathroom features a WC, wash basin, and a shower. There is also a sauna and a washing machine so your stay here will be very comfortable. The beach is just a short walk from the house. Here you will find a simple bathing dock and the rowing boat that is included in the rent. Why not try your hand at fishing, you may well catch some pike and bass! In the area you will find big forests, open fields and a lot of lovely walking paths. There are plenty of wild animals to be spotted, elk, deer, hares and wild boar, as well as rare birds. It's just a one-hour drive to picturesque little towns such as Västervik and Söderköping. If you are willing to drive a bit longer, you can visit the larger towns Linköping and Norrköping. The children will really enjoy Astrid Lindgren's World, also about 1,5 hours away. Katthult and Bullerbyn, well known from Astrid Lindgren's beloved children's books, are also close. Or why not take a daytrip to Mariannelund and find out how sweets were made in the olden days? It's about one and a half hour by car to the lovely nature reserve Kolmården, fun for the entire family!
