“Ok for one night, and nice to try old caravans”

“To be fair the room itself was clean and had decent coffee. However there was mold around the caulk surrounding the bathtub. The bathroom was MAYBE 10 sq feet. Cold water disappeared in the middle of the shower causing extremely hot water to burn while yeting to get it turned off. The bed sagged in the middle. Loud road noise made sleeping very hard. No air conditioner or fan to circulate the air. Very warm in the room. The room was on the 2nd floor with very steep steps and the walk...

“The room has a bad smell”

“This was a beautiful stay in Taos. The staff is the best we've ever experienced. And the public grounds on the property were very peaceful. We were quite disappointed with the hot tub area and the hot tub itself. Not well maintained and pretty gross. We got out of the hot tub as soon as we got in! The bathroom sink had little drips of water on the cold side, and the hot side was scorching hot immediately. Not the best stay, but not the worst.”

“Our stay was enjoyable and the property offered an amazing view. The room was clean and the bed sheets were fresh, which we really appreciated. The only concern we had was that when we opened the drawers, there was noticeable dust inside. This caused us to cough and sneeze a couple of times, though it settled quickly afterward. Aside from that, everything else was comfortable and we had a good experience overall.”

“This building & hotel is 200 yrs old which makes it fun and interesting. Definitely an earlier era shows up here. Rather fun. However, if you’re looking for a fancy & new, bright, shiny hotel this isn’t it. The rooms are small but adequate, and clean; but a bit dated and could be upgraded even within the old theme. “Unique rooms. Wonderful and convenient location.”

“Check in was easy, the resort is a nice place, our room was clean and large, we had a balcony and enjoyed sitting out there. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Only complaint was the sink drained slow and water filled up in the sink. There was no open restaurants on site for evening dinner. But we were referred to a nice pub and grub and a pizza parlor just down the hill, is walking distance, the pub was nice. Over all we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend. ”

“Although this is an older property, it is clearly well maintained. From our arrival to our departure it was terrific. Good accommodations. Comfortable bed. Clean room. The check in staff was helpful and friendly. Her recommendation for a dinner restaurant was spot on. The complimentary breakfast was also terrific. It felt like the staff cared about their jobs. You don't see that so much anymore. We would definitely stay there again and would recommend to others.”

“Apparently 3rd party Renters get the bottom of the barrel Room assignments. We were assigned to the room surrounded by an elevator, Laundry Room and Ice Maker. We managed to get reassigned to another room that had it's own issues to deal with. If you want your wishes considered at all in the room assignments you need to call the hotel directly, days in advance and make sure they note your preferences. This may or not work, but it's what they suggested, otherwise you're just out of luck.”

“Everything was so great I loved my stay. From the hot tub to the gym and bar it was all beautiful. I stayed in the Tibet room and it was so relaxing with a Native American decor. I will definitely be staying here next time I come visit.”
