“What a gorgeous house in a beautiful area, well run by a lovely couple. We had a wonderful stay; this little gem is tucked away on a quiet hillside spot, with breathtaking views of the coast and on the doorstep of lovely walks, and just a few minutes walk to the towns of Lynton & Lynmouth. Our room was lovely; warm, clean and spacious, a pretty and comfortable bed, soft bedding and nice pillows with a great sea view. There was some confusion over the room that I thought I had booked, but that was really my fault rather than the hotel, but they went to all lengths to make sure we were happy - and we were. Staff are super friendly, not just in the hotel but the restaurant for breakfast and in the attached pub next door. Such a great stay - thank you for looking after us :) ”

Christopher was an outstanding host, great communication and very helpful as well as cooking a great breakfast! The location and surrounding area are also wonderful and my walking boots got a good outing. I fully intend to come back for a longer stay!”

“Nice apartment, ideal positioning, Illfracombe is very steep, but lovely walks to be had. Car parking is free after 6pm in the town also. We didn’t use the facilities but pool looked a decent size. Cushions on the bed were very hard. Could maybe do with a couple of soft ones in the wardrobe as a just incase. Lovely place overall. ”
