The location was fantastic - easy access to the city and walking distance to amazing food. Staff was incredibly friendly.

Fue una estadia excepcional, el staff muy amable y me hicieron sentir como en casa. Un hotel pequeño y muy cómodo, con una ubicación excelente. Tranquilo y seguro. Solo mejorar el wifi

Great location
Great location in the heart of Bellavista with everything walking distance away. Lovely included breakfast. Room was very noisy as next to popular walkways and other hostels. Could do with new windows, preferably double glazed to keep the noise out, especially at night.

Lindo hotel, bien ubicado
Hotel precioso, personal súper amable, desayuno muy rico. La habitación no tan cómoda, muy pequeña y con la cama encajonada en un rincón. Muy buena ubicación para recorrer Valparaíso.

Nettes, persönliches Hotel auf dem Hügel Conceptio
Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage und verfügt nur über wenige Zimmer. Spanisch ist hier zwar klar gefragt, aber irgendwie bekommt man es auch mit Englisch hin. Vom Busbahnhof ist man mit dem Bus, einem kleinen Fußweg und einer Fahrt mit dem Ascessor schnell vor Ort. Viele gute Restaurants in der Nähe. Sehr zu empfehlen: Die Free-Walking-Tour.

Excellence in the heart of heritable area.
Latitude 33 Sur is located in a passage off Templeman. It is only a typical narrow Valpo laneway, but it is still very easy to locate. It is right in the centre of this fascinating Cerro Concepcion district. Street art, laneways, cliff top view points, restaurants and cafes surround you. Lat. 33 Sur appears relatively new and has a typical Valpo feel. It is built on a few levels, & has great views out its windows. There is also a nice downstairs chill out lounge area. Good sized clean rooms too. Staff were great. Instantly made you welcome and were genuinely interested in your daily adventures and freely offered suggestions of other sites to see. Each time you arrived back, they warmly greeted you. I had 3 nights there and could not recommend it more highly.

Smelly room, loud at night.
We didn't want to stay in a hostel so booked this 'hotel' instead. As it turns out a hostel room perhaps would have been nicer, and cheaper! Price was perhaps hiked up as there was a festival on we paid $122 usd a night, for a double room with a side room with room for a bunk bed only, the room had a terrible smell, stains on the blinds and ugly dirty looking carpet. Breakfast was included but was very limited/basic. The lady at reception was nice, but even at half the cost of what we paid I don't think the hotel is worth staying at, check out the hostels in the area as this certainly is no better.

quirky place to stay near downtown
The room wasn't that special, but coming from a couple days in a hostel it was nice. Our room was kind of quirky with a slanted bench and closet, certainly a more unique place to stay, but we didn't really have a window. The beds were adequate. The breakfast area was nice and there was a good selection of freshly-cut fruit.

La habitación que habíamos reservado era con aire acondicionado y al llegar al hotel nos dieron una sin aire en un día de bastante calor, al decirle al conserje que esa no era la habitación y mostrándole lo que decía en la reserva, nos dijo que teníamos razón pero que no lo podía reservar y que la culpa no era de ellos si no de Hoteles.com. Personal muy poco capacitado y sin respuesta para la resolución de problemas en el momento en que llegamos. La higiene del baño podría haber sido más detallista, por ende supongo que toda la habitación estaría en las mismas condiciones.

Beautiful hotel in excellent central location!
Very nice little hotel in a great central Valparaiso location. Spent 3 nights here with friends in 2 rooms. Both rooms were clean and comfortable; staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is easy walking to restaurants and City sights. One of the rooms was facing the hillside where the adjacent street is. The street is cobblestone, so the passing cars are a little loud, but it was only a minor annoyance.

An Oasis amid Rusticissimo
This hotel was quite hard to find because I didn't notice that the address is on Templeman Pasaje, not Templeman Av. A local resident I asked while searching Templeman Av. didn't know about the tiny, short alley that is Templeman Pasaje. It is a hard walk up a steep hill when you are carrying luggage. The staff were quite helpful, although they spoke almost no English at all. Breakfast was nice, and different. If you leave the hotel for a walk you will think hard first because of the hard walk back uphill. At the foot of the hill there are lots of cheap buses going around the city. The neighborhood is filled with very rustic buildings, many made of what looks like cast-off lumber or corrugated metal, most of them covered with folk painting or graffiti. The Latitud 33 Sur stands out because the exterior looks better than the other buildings. But the interior, as shown, is sort of artsy unpainted wooden construction. I had the economical single room and it was very small, although adequate, and had its own bathroom.

Quirky hotel in Concepcion - good value.
We had an unfortunate experience as we were leaving when our luggage was stolen from our car trunk - the hotel staff were amazing and very helpful with getting the police to come and assist with translating. This is a charming city but we were reminded that you cannot drop your guard for one moment.

Un hotel muy gratificante
Muchas cosas a favor de este Hotel, su ubicación, ahi bien cerca del centro y a la vez en la cima del Cerro Concepción lo que nos da cercania y hermosas vistas de toda la ciudad. La gente del hotel, muy calida, respetuosa y al servicio del visitante. Limpio, sobrio pero con estilo, un placer alojarse en el.

Excellent staff, the hotel is very well located in Cerro Alegre, a short walk from many restaurants and small markets. The breakfast was great!!

Great! Charming!
I was apprehensive because when I first arrived, I thought the taxi would drop me right at the front door but the hotel is located in a passageway. I was prepared to stay the night and then look for another hotel, but the location is great and it is a boutique hotel with charm. The staff, Veronica and Flaviola were terrific and fussed over me. I stayed all three nights and I am not sorry and would stay here again.

Das Hotel ist mit der Karte, die auf der Homepage ist, nicht zu finden. Die Verbalbeschreibung hilft wenig. Die Adresse wird nicht verraten. Das ist echt ärgerlich, v.a. wenn man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist (Einbahnstraßen). So wird die Anreise unnötig stressig. Das Personal spricht leider weitestgehend nur spanisch. Beim Hotelzimmer kann man Glück oder Pech haben. Uns wurde als Doppelszimmer das Kellerzimmer gegeben, das keinen Ausblick hat und sehr dunkel ist. Wir haben dann lieber im schönen Einzelzimmer übernachtet, in einem 100m-Bett.
