Perfect Pkace!
Kathleen has an amazing property - perfect for a couple. She has looked after every detail - we couldn’t think of one thing that was missing. Hard to believe that you are in the middle of a city! Even go to see Northern Lights. We’ll definitely be back.

second visit and loved it
This was our second visit to the Carriage House Farm, we have stayed in other rentals in Fort Langley, and this is definitely our first choice. The separate building on the property provides quiet and privacy, the completely above ground suite has the best landscape scenery, the view of the overall property is beautiful, enjoyable even with the unexpected snow cover. The suite has the best kitchen we've stayed in for cooking and baking, the best welcoming snacks on our arrival, the living room is bright and sunny, well suited for reading in the afternoon, or watching the screen in the evening, the WIFI is strong for both personal and business connections, and of course our host Kathleen is always available by text and in person for advice and assistance. Highly recommend.

Thank you for the amazing comments. You are more than welcome to stay here anytime. I was so pleased to walk into the suite after you left to find I basically had very little to do other than some laundry and light cleaning. You left it absolutely spotless. Also having left the funds behind I reimbursed you for, for having missed 2 nights because of weather and cancelled flights was totally unnecessary. That was quite the payment for one broken glass and again not necessary. Lol

Delight in BC
Kathleen's home and property are SO wonderful. Such a relaxing, clean and quiet place to stay, the Suite has everything a couple needs for a delightful time in British Columbia. We enjoyed everything about our 4-night stay, Kathleen is a terrific host - every detail has been taken care of to make folks like us so very comfortable and happy! Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay
From the moment I first contact the host, her quick reply and accurate assessment of her location vs the location of a relative I was coming to check on was a blessing. She accommodated me in every way possible and I would not hesitate to select this host or property again in the future. My only hope is that it’s not booked for my next unexpected trip to Vancouver. Thanks again. I felt safe and right at home. 💜💜💜

Country oasis in the city!
What an absolute gem this place is! I have stayed in self-catering accommodation throughout Canada and the UK and Kathleen's place is now in my top 3 to re-visit. Kathleen is a communicative and generous host and the accommodation is spotless with every amenity needed for a short or long stay. I loved every minute of my time at Kathleen's and would not hesitate to recommend her place to anyone seeking a country oasis in the city!

Perfect!
We had such a great stay. The attention to detail was everywhere from the 4 seasons robe, to snacks, coffee, and everything you could need on arrival. The mattress and bedding were also heavenly! Will definitely stay again!

What a pleasure to stay at this charming property! Plenty of room for 2 adults and fully equipped with much more than you'd expect! Clean, quiet and private, with beautiful surrounding grounds, including sitting areas along a meandering river. This is one time I wish our schedule wasn't so busy, so we could've spent more time just enjoying this accommodation! We will definitely re-book when we return to the lower mainland!

Perfect romantic getaway
Carriage House Farm is a beautiful property. There is lots of space to wander around the farm, whether playing fetch with Duke the guard dog, visiting the horses, strolling along the river, sitting on the swings, or lounging around the second fire table in the gazebo. It’s not hard to see why this is also a sought after spot for weddings and filming movies. The lovely guest suite provides a lovely space for two to relax, including the private patio with propane fire table looking out at the blueberry field, or in the living room next to the electric fireplace. The suite is well equipped with everything you need, and has lots of room for storage to keep organized during a longer stay. The host, Kathleen, is friendly and wonderful to deal with. She graciously accommodated our requests and responded very quickly to any questions. We will definitely be back!

Hidden Treasure
We were planning our visit to the area for a big Geocaching event in Abbotsford, and couldn't find a decent hotel open in the area. Because this was a continuing celebration of our 35 years being married and best friends, I decided to look for a quaint little place to escape to. This little hidden treasure met all of our expectations. Thanks for the wonderful and private hospitality!

Beautiful Blueberry Farm
Kathleen was an excellent host and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay on her beautiful blueberry farm! Kathleen was very easy to communicate with, very helpful when we were up against possible flight delays and made us feel right at home once we arrived. The rental was just perfect for our stay as we were visiting family in Langley. Not only was the unit new and extremely clean but there were many lovely extras that we really appreciated. There was even a bowl of just picked blueberries waiting for us upon arrival. The bed and bedding were very comfortable and the Kurig coffee maker was a huge hit. We enjoyed sitting our on the patio with a cup of coffee a lovely view of the farm. We will definately be back!

Perfect Ft. Langley Stay for Two
Serene setting on a blueberry farm with beautiful grounds and loads of privacy. Kathleen, our host, gave us our space but was readily available when we reached out. She pays attention to the finer details and adds those touches that make it an extra special stay. Super comfy bed and all the amenities you need. We would definitely recommend that you stay here. We've stayed at many VRBOs, and this is one of the best.

Wonderful!
We really enjoyed our stay here. This home is lovely, spotless and so generously supplied. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings in a country setting where we could sit on the deck and look across the blueberry field, or watch the horses graze in the pasture, and have an occasional welcome greeting from Duke, the German Shepherd. All this just a few minutes from Fort Langley. Everything from the comfortable bed to the plush towels made for a very comfortable stay. Kathleen is the perfect host and we look forward to returning again soon.

Just what we needed
Kathleen's property is beautiful, peaceful and charming. The photos are absolutely exactly what the place is like. Duke, the dog, is a sweetheart (even for someone who is not really a dog-person.) This place is definitely a gem. Close enough to Fort Langley and to the town of Langley. Flat enough for easy access for my mother-in-law and her walker to visit. My only negatives were: The 10x face mirror is scary ;), but would appreciate a full length mirror. All I can say is, BOOK THIS PROPERTY!

Fort Langley is conveniently located to where we wanted to go
It is in Fort Langley which is not far from my husband’s mother and brothers’ residences. Since we have a rental car, driving back and forth to my mother-in-law’s retirement residence is not a big deal. My husband and I just wanted to have a place to stay while visiting his family.

Completely Charmed by this serene spot. Will definitely be back.
This little spot was exactly what I needed and far surpassed my expectations. Kathleen is a fantastic host who obviously takes pride in her property. She provided extra little items that made my stay like being at home. I really enjoyed the cookies and tea unwinding at the end of the day. Waking in the mornings to the chatter of birds and watching the horses graze in the field left me relaxed and refreshed. I especially enjoyed being greeted by Duke, her dog, such a wonderful companion. The bed was so comfortable, the shower immediately hot. I look forward to many more visits, hopefully to explore a bit more and most of all to chat further with Kathleen. A perfect host, very easy to deal with, concerned that everything was good. She left me in my own privacy, but was readily available if needed. I can’t wait to return.

Very small living space but adequate for a few nights stay.
We generally enjoyed our stay, and the host was helpful and friendly, but there were a few issues. It was VERY hard to find the entrance to the property, especially arriving when it is dark, since the owner is not permitted to put a sign out near the road. Maybe some better reflectors on the rail fence would help. Also the unit was not warm when we arrived; the thermostat was set at about 15 C and it took at least 2 hours to warm up since it is electric baseboard heating. This was not very pleasant or comfortable. We appreciated the basket of goodies and everything that we needed was in the unit.

It was unfortunate that you encountered these problems during your stay. I thought I had turned up the heat to a comfortable temperature however I wasn’t wearing my glasses so I apologize for that. When you called about this I had mentioned turning on the oven and opening the door to speed up the warming and that I also have a space heater but you said you’d be ok. Yes the suite is very small and the pictures I provide does show this plus I keep the rate competitive for that reason. Yes the driveway is difficult to find and again 1 of the pictures shows you what you are looking for when driving by. Having said that I will investigate better signage for the top of the driveway.

The Perfect Stay
Kathleen’s farm is the perfect stay in a quite and secure location within minutes from historic Fort Langley. The cottage was spotlessly clean, well presented and everything was thought of to make our stay enjoyable. The bed was also very comfortable. This property is beautiful and we enjoyed a couple of evenings watching the sun set over the blueberry field with a hot chocolate and cookies in hand. Kathleen is an excellent host. We would return.

Quaint, thoughtful, and so comfortable!
We stayed on the farm for 5 nights for our daughters wedding and loved it! Kathleen thinks of everything and we had all the little touches of home! The bed was the truly comfortable and we had an excellent rest. Private, quiet and cozy. And the best coffee machine:) we will pass along this gem to our friends and family staying in Langley!
