Roseta Caramel - lakefront apartment with terrace

Location that will give you a unique experience in the heart of one of the most iconic villages of Lake Como, where you can admire memorable sunsets from the large terrace overlooking the lake. The apartment, recently renovated and furnished with care, is located in a detached house dedicated to short-term rentals. It is easily accessible by car, train from Fiumelatte station or on foot, walking in 20 minutes along a historic medieval path that once connected Lecco to the upper lake.
Fiumelatte is known for its waterway among the shortest in Italy, about 250 meters long, and for its fascinating characteristic of flowing only from March to October, and then disappearing in the winter months. This phenomenon has aroused the curiosity of travelers and scholars, including Leonardo da Vinci, who mentioned it in his writings.
The Caramel apartment, located on the ground floor of the pedestrian entrances, offers a bright living area with kitchenette and direct access to the panoramic terrace, a double bedroom and a large bathroom. It can accommodate up to 4 people, thanks to two single sofa beds in the living room. For larger groups, it is possible to book it together with the Créme apartment, for a total capacity of up to 8 guests.
Among the comforts available: air conditioning, flat-screen TV, safe, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine and private bathroom with bidet. Every detail has been carefully taken care of by the property to ensure a comfortable and refined stay.
Those arriving by car can find parking in the available spaces facing the lake, right in front of the house. The apartment comes with linen and towel sets for all guests, as well as a welcome kit that includes oil, salt, pepper, coffee, pods, dishwasher and washing machine capsules, shampoo, shower gel, dish soap and toilet paper.
Management is entrusted to Nativoo, a benefit company committed to concrete and measurable sustainability goals. The apartment is part of the NativooForGood project, an initiative that promotes sustainable development in the short-term rental sector on Lake Como and Valsassina. . The property itself was lovely and well appointed. Especially loved having a laundry after a week of travel without access to a laundry. The patio was also fabulous as we were able to eat breakfast and dinner out there each day. Communication with the property managers was good. They were fast and responsive to our questions and needs. The location was about a 25 minute walk to the town centre of Veranna and this was a big inconvenience without a car. There are no grocery stores available and even to get to a cafe or a bottle of water you have to walk into town. Transport to the ferry station was also in town so it was a long walk from where our accommodation was. If you have a car this is a great option. If not I would recommend staying in town.
