The main room has kitchen, table, lounge, small TV and a fire. The separate bedroom has two single beds with an adjoining bathroom. The cottage sits right on the edge of the Rio Varosa (Varosa River) and the sound of running water is peaceful and calming. There is the option to have a home cooked meal...

“We hadden ee heerlijke week. Francisca en haar man zorgen goed voor hun gasten. Mooi gelegen, fijn terras, goede plek voor uitstapjes of wandelingen. We zijn wel flink door muggen gestoken maar de stromende rivier die je altijd hoort maakt veel goed.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the mill house. At our arrival, we were greeted by Henrique and he filled us in on some of the fascinating history of the home. The mill house was warmly decorated, comfortable and well stocked. We enjoyed great day trips in the area, but always came home to our peaceful quinta. We were met with the scent of orange blossoms, took advantage of the wonderful meal delivered to our door, walked through the vineyard, and shared a glass of Port next to the river....
