“Terribly disappointed. Firstly, double booked, we were sent off to Mamalla Inn in the village. Day 2. We were promised our room when we got back from our visit to the city. Our luggage was still lying at the reception when we got back. After waiting at the reception for 40 minutes we were packed into a room that was hurriedly cleaned up. Towels were in shreds, door lamination peeling off. Unfortunately we had included breakfast and dinner in our package. I haven't eaten worse food than that...

“Nice hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Room adjacent via a locked door til next door room, so at times somewhat noisy. Aircon hard to adjust, so had to turn if off when it got too cold. Very old and very small TV. Tray with left over food from another room left in corridor for the most part of 24 hours and after it was removed still some food stuff left on the corridor floor - due to personel being overworked due to huge turn over of guests at the time..”

“Decent property with good rooms . It's very big property with lots of open space and beach access. Enterence of the property is flashy and gives classy look. Food is huge disappointment, High tea is a shame. Lights are very less which gives seedy look at night. Pool is not very clean and tiles are broken. The security head has some attitude and not fair to KA cars. The place has secure feeling and had a great sleep. Overall good experience. There are many very good 5 stars around and restaurants...

“I would say this is one of the best beach resorts near Chennai and value for money. Limited rooms but they have a nice pool, lot of outdoor space for games like cricket, foot ball etc.,. Beach - at a walkable distance and an indoor TT and carrom hall. Rooms are tidy and spacious with a good view. Breakfast spread is just about ok, can have variety and food can be hot. Otherwise nothing to complain here. Would deftly suggest this place for a weekend getaway. Kids enjoyed their time here. P.S :...

“Det är första gången jag bor här. Fantastiskt ställe mitt i Mamallapuram. En oväntad oas av stillhet, god frukost, nära havet. Fantastisk pool. De hade en taxi driver Thuri som körde mig ditt jag behövde åka. Ibland en halv eller heldag. Dit åker jag igen!”

“It is a eco friendly and a very clean and pleasant property. The only thing very obnoxious about the whole thing was room guest walking around the reception area to their rooms on 1st floor wrapped around only with a towel from the swimming pool. The club should maintain some decorum. This was the most unpleasant feeling with wife and daughter around. Otherwise every thing was fantastic”
