“Staff is super friendly and flexible; it is a family owned and run business; they make you feel part of the family; town is super cute and one of the examples of "Fachwerk" houses I have seen in Germany. Also steeped in history. The castle was a seat of one of the most important rulers of Germany. Definitely worth a visit and overnight stay. Great dinner options in the old town center.”

“Rummet var smakfullt möblerat med bra utrymmen. Rent och snyggt. Hotellets låg långt ifrån störande trafik. Lugnt och skönt. Promenadavstånd ner till centrum med ett flertal restauranger och affärer i en prydlig liten tysk by i gammal stil. Möjligheter till rekreation som bastu, promenader, bad etc.”

“Centralt läge och vänligt bemötande. Mycket smidigt att parkera i hotellets eget garage. Rymligt, modernt och tyst rum med fräscht badrum, kylskåp, möjlighet att koka kaffe och te. Vi åt frukost ute (det finns gott om kaféer runtomkring) så kan inte uttala mig om frukosten.”

“Nice hotel, big room, nice breakfast. The only negative thing was the very expensive inernet conection. The cost was higher than a regular "hot spot" connection". At least it was fast.”

“Als Privatmensch suchte ich eine Unterkunft für eine Nacht mit Frühstück, um Verwandte vor Ort zu besuchen. Bei der Preislage darf man keinen Luxus erwarten! Ein fairer Preis wurde mir zuvorkommender Freundlichkeit und netten Service kombiniert. Das Hotel hat mit Sicherheit schon bessere Zeiten erlebt, dass ein oder andere abgestoßene Möbelstück, in die Jahre gekommene Teppichböden und Matratzen, Duschvorhänge statt Duschkabinen oder Glaswände sprechen für sich. Das Frühstück ging in Ordnung,...

“We had beautiful 3 nights stay at Schloss Lehen. Dinner at hotel was really good with a nice selection in menue. We arrived early so we enjoyed a little picnic on their cosy lawn before checking in. All was ship shape and staff great despite hosting a huge wedding day before...some guests finished last of wedding cake in garden”
