"An extremely large hotel that apparently used to be a monastery. I had to extend my stay, so had two separate booking for the same room class. I sent a note via Expedia asking to be able to keep the same room and not have to check out after the first night but received no response. Nevertheless this was sorted on check-in which I appreciated.
I did have one stroke of bad luck in that my room turned out to be the absolute furthest from reception which put it a good 10-minute walk away. I also took a wrong turn on several occasions making the journey even longer. Free exercise!
Other than that everything was fine. I had a "Superior Single" room with a 110cm bed in a smallish room that nevertheless contained everything I needed. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable, I slept well. Good bathroom with all the essentials, a desk with power outlets and an excellent buffet breakfast. A complimentary bottle of mineral water in the room is always appreciated. Be aware it's a €25 Uber ride from Veldhoven station."
