Nice hotel
Very nice hotel in the heart of Venice. Next to Piazza san Marco and the Cathedral . The room had a charming, historic style. Good breakfast with wonderful coffee. Maybe not the best choice if you have a lot of luggage.

A beautiful hotel with excellent location
Located a two minute walk from San Marco square this hotel is worn and a bit old, but clean and well maintained except for some details. In these days with phones, watches, pads and computers an extension cord would have been useful since there was only one available plug available (in the bathroom) for charging. The hotel cleaning is the best I've seen, but unfortunately they don't bother with the hung towels vs on the floor. They changed the towels every day (all 7 of them!) despite hanging them up, which isn't very environmentally friendly. We stayed for 4 nights and first morning I asked for lactose free yoghurt, and they brought a soy-ghurt. Since I'm allergic to soy i couldn't eat it and they promised to get regular lactose free yoghurt that never appeared. I did get a lovely lactose free cappuccino every morning though! All of the staff is very helpful, cheerful and polite, from porters to desk to cleaners to restaurant. One disappointment was that the info on Hotels.com said that the hotel had both restaurant and bar, which they did, but they were closed throughout our stay.

Bra läge på hotellet
Mysigt hotell i gammal stil. Ligger väldigt bra till med 2 minuters gångavstånd till Markusplatsen och kollektivtrafik/taxi vid kajen. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal och god frukost. AC på rummet. Liten hiss.

Great location, just steps from several excellent restaurants and shopping. Easy walk to top attractions and canal transportation. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. Quaint room was very clean and comfortable.

We booked a room at the Montecarlo Hotel in Venice, Italy. When we checked in, we were advised that our room was in the “Annex”. This is not what we expected. After climbing a massively long staircase, we arrived to our room. Our room was tremendously tiny. Also, the air conditioner did NOT cool the room.

The hotel staff are wonderful, the location is perfect. But I cannot ignore the fact that when we first walked in the bedroom we had mosquitos everywhere, i had to buy bug spray to kill them all. Lastly, im not sure if this happens in other hotels in Venice but the water pressure was horrible and it took a long time to heat up the water.

The staff were very friendly and our stay included a boat ride to Murano to visit the glass factory Signoretti. However we had a room in the Annex and the AC didn't work and we couldn't control. We had complained to staff and they were to fix it while we were gone for the day. The room was just as uncomfortable which made for a hot and stuffy night. We opened the window for relief and got many bug bites.

Comfortable room with lovely amenities. Super clean and bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. English is spoken by all we have encountered. Great location for sightseeing. Outstanding breakfast. We were provided several options for transportation from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to our ship with costs. When we decided before we arrived, reservations were made with clear instructions. A property.

Hotel was great! Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Very clean spacious room Inga great location! The only negative is our room was in the annex and a 4 th floor walk up. The staff did care of our luggage both up and down. I highly recommend!

Hotel Montecarlo was in an awesome location. Close to shops and restaurants. The hotel is a short walk away from the water bus which is very convenient. The staff was friendly and answered any questions we had. They also helped us bring our bags up to the room. The rooms were dated, but very clean and had everything you could need. The bed was very comfortable.

The room was very moldy. You can see black mold on the wallpapers throughout the room. The dark carpet also had many stains. The bathroom ceiling had mold. I couldn't stop sneezing. The location was central and convenient. Very busy area but in one of the narrower street. The front desk was not friendly but not all that helpful with guides. The included breakfast was ok. I would not stay at this motel again.
