  • Peaceful, relaxing and private home delivers you a getaway you will truly cherish. Enjoy 100' feet of lake frontage in this beautiful place we call Cypress Soul. Bring your boat and fishing poles ... or just relax and enjoy the ambiance of False River. - No parties or any events of any kind. This house is only for use for those that booked it. Whomever booked the stay has to be also staying at the home. We strictly do not allow parties of any type. No unexpected guests or events. **If a party is detected and you exceed the maximum number of guests allowed, you will be asked to leave immediately with NO REFUND**
    Our 3 bedroom 2 bath lake home comes with a Sun-Room that is a focal point of the views of False River. Enjoy your cup of coffee while cooking breakfast in that room, or just relax under the Gazebo with your java. At the end of the day, you will enjoy some of the most beautiful sunsets. The home comes fully equipped as we tried our best to deliver you with many quality amenities you would have in your own home. All TV's are set up with Fire Sticks & have the ability to stream your very own favorite services (note: no cable or antenna set up).
    Enjoy the multi level pier for relaxing, sunbathing, swimming and parking your boat. We offer a mooring system to help keep your boat in the best shape possible while being parked.
    The home sleeps 8 comfortably (max of 10 with blow up queen mattress) with a King Master Suite you will hopefully treasure. The second bedroom has a Queen Bed along with a futon while the last bedroom comes with a Twin over Full bunk bed. The double vanity sink in the guest bathroom is also helpful for young families as well.

    *minimum age of 25 to rent & must be on property for duration of stay
    Exterior security cameras are located at all entrances and driveway, monitoring for safety and to prevent unauthorized parties.

We look forward to our yearly relaxing time on this beautiful lake. Looking out from the sunroom makes it perfect. The fishing is always exciting and the accommodations perfect.

Excellent Place with Perfect LOCATION!

Very relaxing and cozy home to enjoy while making lasting memories with family. Had everything you would ever need. It was like being at home. Very comfortable and allowed me to really unwind and relax and enjoy the rich history around the area and abroad! Communication with owners was great and easy transactions as well. Great place to be and hope to get back there!

Labor Day vacation

This property is excellent in every way. From the outside shaded area with the fire pit and covered sitting area to the air conditioned glass patio. We loved the living room…comfortable sofas and large tv. The owners have thought of everything. We have stayed here before and plan on staying here again. Thanks for sharing your place.

Great experience

Really enjoyed the property. Everything was clean. Views from pier were excellent. Information about restaurants and grocery store was so very helpful. Spent my birthday weekend with daughters and granddaughters. Made some great memories!!

Home away from home

Cypress soul is an amazing property!! Everything you need is provided. The home has plenty of beds for adults and children. The bathrooms are amazing, especially the master, it is the size of a bedroom. The living room is very comfortable…huge tv. The patio and outside area are so nice. We made s’mores on the fire pit with the grandkids, they loved it. We can’t wait to visit Cypress Soul again!

Our state was really fun. We enjoyed fishing off the pier. The most caught catfish, perch, and one small bass. We had a great time and really enjoyed the place.

Peace in Paradise

Flowers in bloom throughout the yard. Watched a cardinal pair from the sun room grazing in the yard every morning. Mallard pair coasting by the wharf throughout the day. Drinking coffee on the wharf in the morning. Watching the breath-taking sunset while sitting in the rockers under the gazebo in the evening. This place is paradise. The owners thought of everything you could need to make your stay enjoyable. Its super clean, and everything is in good condition. The place looks newly renovated. I will definitely be back here again.

Amazing home and property

Cypress Soul was a wonderful 11 day get away for us. We enjoyed the house, wharf and swim deck. Kitchen in sun room was the best. Kirk and Daisy were great hosts. Can’t wait to go back again.

This was an awesome teacher get-a-way trip!!

This place was the perfect get-a-way for us. We absolutely have not one complaint. Very clean house; good communication; pier, sunroom, and outdoors provide all means for relaxation; house provides all means for cooking, etc. You just don’t wont to leave this place. Definitely a 5 rating!!

Great getaway!

House has been beautifully remodeled and was super clean. There’s a big sunroom with a great view of the river. We spent most of our time in there. Owner was very responsive to any questions we had and was very kind. Great place!

Perfect Week-end!

Cypress Soul is a beautiful way to escape, relax and enjoy nature. The property is well-equipped with everything you need and the owner is very easy to work with. Our crew enjoyed the fishing and just being together in this lovely home on the river. Perfect week-end! The owner even went the extra mile to ship something to us that we left behind!! 5 Stars for Cypress Soul

This was our second stay at Cypress Soul. We enjoyed getting to know the Ventress and New Roads areas during the winter. Kirk and Daisy’s home is extremely clean, very comfortable, and has every amenity you can imagine. Looking forward to our next trip there in March!
