Escape to solace & beauty at Stella Vista Ranch! Tucked away on a knoll top with sweeping mountain views this Tuscan villa set inside an avocado ranch will take your breath away. Located off highway 150, just ten minutes from Rincon Point in Carpinteria & 20 minutes to downtown Ojai, this four bedroom estate will not disappoint. This spacious family home beckons you to relax & make memories while also being just a short drive from Southern California's most sought after vacation towns.
This spacious 3,500 square foot home has four bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. There are amazing views from literally every room in the house! Upstairs you will find three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The primary suite is located upstairs and includes a 55 inch Samsung Frame TV, private balcony, double futon sofa bed, king bed with down bedding, Nespresso machine, and a mini fridge. You will also find an additional small desk that can double as a makeup vanity. Pamper yourself in the en suite bathroom with heated stone flooring, extra large soaking tub set under a giant picture window (stargaze with a glass of wine in the tub!), and a separate two person shower with body jets.
The second bedroom upstairs also has exceptional views, a king bed and a Keurig coffee machine.
Directly across the hall from this bedroom there is a full bathroom.
At the end of the upstairs hall you will find the third bedroom called the "bunk room." This room has two sets of full over full bunk beds that include two twin pull out beds underneath. If children are sharing this room you could fit a maximum of 10!! There are a lot of windows in this room with beautiful views and a sweet reading nook with a papasan chair and canopy. But not to worry... if you like to sleep in all of Stella Vista's bedrooms have black out curtains and shades.
Downstairs there is a very large sunken living room with tall ceilings and a beautiful stone fireplace. There is also a very comfortable sectional that can be rearranged to accommodate your group. Three sets of french doors are located in the living room that open up to two different outdoor patios. All of the main living areas in the home have gorgeous saltillo tile flooring.
The dining area and kitchen are located in the same part of the home. The dining room includes a 55-inch Samsung Frame television, Restoration Hardware farmhouse table (which can accommodate 12 guests), and a separate bistro table sitting area.
Create feasts with your family in the chef's kitchen that includes a six burner Viking range, extra large island with four barstools, Vitamix blender, Instant pot, Kitchenaid mixer and everything you need to make the meal of your dreams. There are two sets of french doors that lead the backyard patio that includes a Traeger grill!
The fourth bedroom is located on the main floor. This room has a large sofa that can convert into three twin beds or one queen and one twin. We have had several families and also couples enjoy this room. If this does not need to be a bedroom it can be used as a separate tv/gaming/study room. ** Please let us know in advance if you would like the sofa made into a bed and we will be happy to set it up for you! In this room you will find a smart tv, standing desk and an entire wall of bookshelves. This bedroom also includes a set of french doors that open onto a small deck with beautiful views. Just outside there is an outdoor shower.
Directly across the hall from this bedroom there is a full bathroom.
The garage/game room/laundry area is located down the opposite hall. This a finished garage that includes two sets of brand new washer/dryers, ping pong table, folding desk with stools, mirror with ballet bar, sofa and a basketball hoop game. Directly outside is the outdoor shower. Perfect for rinsing off after a day of surf at Rincon or from romping around the ranch!
The front yard is a beautiful oasis of fragrant flowers and roses, breakfast bistro table, rockers, hammocks, swings and lounge chairs. Sun bathe, bird watch, or enjoy your morning coffee while listening to the beautiful water from the outdoor fountain.
Just off the living room is another small patio that includes two hanging swings. (A favorite spot for happy hour!) There are many reading nooks at Stella Vista and these chairs are a favorite spot for that as well.
The backyard has a patio with a Traeger grill (the absolute best!!!), sofas, fire pit table, and a dining table with benches under the jacaranda tree. There is also a telescope for star gazing. On a clear night the stars at Stella Vista are absolutely fabulous!
This home is a place for refuge, for reconnecting, for rest, and for making memories. We love it so much and we hope you do too!!
*** A couple things to note before booking: The driveway leading up to our home is long and steep. It can be very intimidating for the first time, but we have seen many vehicles of all shapes and sizes make it up just fine. So "just keep going!"
** If you have toddlers you will need to keep an eye on them in the backyard because of the steep slope. There is no fence.
** This is a high fire area. Absolutely no smoking or bonfires are permitted. The Traeger grill should be only be on when someone is home.
** Even though the home is out in the country we do still have neighbors. No loud parties or noise outside after 10pm. This is our family home please treat it with respect. :) There is camera surveillance outside of the home. Our home and the trails behind the house on the upper hill are ours. Other trails down below our home are owned by our neighbors so please respect their privacy and stay off of those trails. The gravel road you drive in on is ok for anyone to use.
