Nice rooms, good price
Nice rooms. Newer AC (low sound and good working). Close to the Ventura beach. Large, nice, tidy and well-planned room. Both Micro and cooler. Pool was OK. Continental breakfast OK (despite rebuilding of dining room that the personal apologized for)

Nice hotel within walking distance from downtown Ventura. The room was spacious and had a separate coffe-making and fridge area. Very good breakfast, even if it got pretty busy by 9.

Helt ok hotell!
Hotellet var helt ok då vi stannade en natt! Nära stranden fast man var tvungen att korsa ett tågspår och en motorväg först! Det fanns bra restauranger i närheten. Frukosten helt ok!

Bra rum till bra pris
Gillade rummet som var stort med separat del där kyl, mikro och kaffekokare finns. Rent och fräscht. Frukosten som ingick var riktig ät bra! Wifi var också kostnadsfri ich fungeradebra!

Ligger bra nära både restauranger samt en övergång ner till stranden. Bra frukost och fina rum. Vi sov en natt på genomresa. Inte så mysigt vid poolen men helt ok. Ljud från tåg vägen så tänk på att få rum nära receptionen.

OK familjehotell i avspänd stad med fina stränder
Ventura är ett avslappnat alternativ till t ex Santa Barbara. Allt är inom gångavstånd (staden, stranden). Lite tråkigt dock att järnvägen och motorvägen skär igenom Ventura. Vi fick rum in mot staden och det kan vara viktigt att kolla att man inte hamnar ut mot motorvägen/järnvägen. Lite tråkig utomhusmiljö med mest bara asfalt, men rena och relativt nyrenoverade rum och en okey pool.

Clean and comfortable.
We stayed one night while attending an event. The hotel was located within walking distance to the beach and shopping. Definitely not fancy but it was clean and comfortable.

OK for a night or two
Very clean. Very covid conscious. Old school type of motel. No elevator, so be aware that you will have to haul your luggage up the stairs. Room was very clean. Beds not super comfortable. They offer a grab and go breakfast. Pretty inconvenient that you have to walk outside to the office to get coffee. The machine in our room wasn't the best. We visit Ventura frequently, probably won't stay at the Best Western again.

The main benefit was its closeness to the pier and restaurants. The room was mediocre. The breakfast very weak. The coffee also was weak. There were no directions in the room for checkout. The person at the desk was brand new and dd not know what to do. The water pipes were noisy. I paid way too much money for a place like this.

Where to begin. This was my husband and I first time visiting Ventura. The beaches are beautiful. This inn has newly renovated rooms that were really nice. The front staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the close proximity to dining, downtown and the beach. On our first night at this property it was really loud outside in the parking lot. There was a group of people drinking and being loud, leaning close to my parked car. My husband and I did not feel safe leaving the room. Lots of sketchy people coming in and out of the property. We ended up leaving early from our trip we did not want to stay on our second planned night here. Looks as if the govt. is using this location to house homeless individuals.

Unmade Room & No Other Vacancies
I arrived at 9pm, was given card key to my room, carried my stuff from the car, only to find the room had not been cleaned from the previous guest: bed was unmade, towels on the floor, garbage in the trash. I put my stuff back in the car, went to the front desk, only to find the receptionist had locked the lobby and gone on a break for 15 minutes. Once she opened up the lobby, I told her about the room. She complained to someone on the phone, but told me she didn't have another room. She offered to call La Quinta Hotel for me, but I declined because I didn't know anything about that hotel. I had to find another hotel after 9:30 pm, sleepy and with two dogs. I filed a complaint on Best Western's site a few days ago, but have not heard back yet.

Staff here is first rate. We had a very comfortable one night stay on our way to the Channel Islands. Room was recently renovated, clean, spacious, quiet, with all the amenities we could have asked for. Location was very convenient near freeway and walkable to downtown. It seemed very open to the main road, and not what I would call picturesque, but definitely worth the value.

Decent Hotel
The front desk clerk was rude, had no customer service, was not friendly and had attitude with the guests in front me and with us. The room was clean and comfortable. There were bums that you can see through the window behind the hotel that we saw in the hotel roaming and that looked very sketchy. Definitely a place to stay for one night just to rest but did not feel at ease seeing what was going on behind the hotel. Wouldn’t recommend to stay there longer than a day.
