The Aloha on lake erie

When you combine a fantastic Lake Erie view with a fully updated home, the result is a beautiful vacation home in the quaint and scenic town of Vermilion, Ohio. We offer 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Sleeps 6. There are amazing panoramic views of the lake on the first floor. The views continue upstairs with a beautiful deck. The fenced in yard offers a deck with patio furniture and a grill for evening cookouts and cocktails. You are just steps away from the lake. sorry! No children due to damages

We had a great time in vermilion. Nice, clean house close to the downtown area and restaurants. I’d stay here if I ever go back. The host was very welcoming and easy to deal with.

This is an odd property. The description is misleading, it speaks about 3 bedrooms but none of them are private. One of the upstair's bedrooms is a loft that is open to the living space below. The other bedroom, on the second floor, has a cheap accordion door that holds shut with a magnet. The primary bedroom has an accordion door as one of the walls separating the primary bedroom from the living space. The primary bathroom has a walk in shower with a sliding glass door as its outer wall. The sliding glass door, in the shower, opens up to a patio. The plumbing gave us trouble during our stay and in looking at the quality of the exposed plumbing (flexible sink drain pipe), I am suspicious that poor roughed in plumbing is the reason. We had reserved the property for 2 nights but left the morning after our first night given all the issues. We communicated with the host about these issues, including that one downstairs window wouldn't lock (missing hardware screws). As mentioned in other reviews no window coverings on any of the many windows except one window in the primary bedroom. VRBO told us the host has blamed us for the window and the clogged plumbing. Very disappointed.

Great place. We wanted a place to visit with family we only see once a year. Lots of seating areas and a table large enough to eat together and play games. outdoor areas are lovely and the lake view is perfect.

Overall the stay was very pleasant and the owners were easy to reach for communication. View of lake was beautiful. The only ideas we would have to make it better would be a TV in the main living/kitchen area. The men would have like to watch the opening game of Ohio State together and not in a bedroom. It was nice all bedrooms had TVs though. More sofas/comfy chairs instead of wicker furniture in common area also. As the weather gets cooler a fire ring would be nice. We would stay again however and we had a great time. Thanks Steve!

The landscaping, location, and out door seating options were amazing. Lots of places for our family to stretch out. The only downside is that all three rooms are very bright so sleeping in is a bit tricky. Overall, great place to stay.

Relaxing lakefront stay

Property was welcoming, bright and airy. Would recommend window coverings for sleep pirposes but otherwise a relaxing home. Good access to lake, and the park looks like it is actively being updated next door.

Beautiful home and yard!We felt uncomfortable with no window coverings. Especially in the bedrooms. And the narrow path to get to back door was very hard for my mom to navigate with her cane. Not sure why the driveway is unusable where the back entry door is located. Would have been a lot easier to get all the luggage and my mom in.

Excellent Property

I stayed here with a friend for three nights and it is a wonderful option in Vermillion! Beautiful views, comfortable rooms, nice little extras. There is the bedroom on the first floor with its own bathroom and on the second floor there are two (One is a loft bedroom) Which was a great set up for us. I had my own area and so did she. Only 2 v small notes: the tv in the first floor bedroom did lose connectivity at times and be sure to note that not all toiletries were available. We made sure to pack shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. based on the listing, but I just wanted to mention since some rentals do supply such things. Communication with the property owner was easy and he was quick to respond. Parking was right at the unit and safely off street. The park across the way offers a small beach and lake walk out. We would definitely return!

Property was wonderful. Only suggest that window treatments be added on both floors. The outside streetlights are very bright overnight interfering with sleep. And privacy in bedrooms was a concern.

Nice little place

Our Labor Day weekend stay was really great. The house is adorable, very eclectic, comfortable, super clean and has lots of spaces to spread out and enjoy. Fantastic view of Lake Erie from the top porch area. Beautiful flowers and greenery inside and outside of the home. Comfortable beds, extra large kitchen table for meals, puzzles, games or work. Steve communicated, asked if we needed anything and gave clear welcome and exiting instructions. Highly recommend.
