Welcome to The Perch, just 5 mins from the hospital and 25 mins from Silver Star. Your accommodation is nestled beside a natural oasis of birds and deer. Sit on your private patio drinking your morning coffee as the deer walk by. The Perch off Pottery contains private laundry, Netflix and WiFi. One queen bed in the bedroom and the couch folds down into a child sized futon in the living room. A family does live upstairs so there will be sounds coming from above.

Stayed in this lovely suite with my teen daughter for 4 nights for a ski race. Just 30min to Sovereign and a few minutes from downtown. Quiet and comfortable for the 2 of us.

We enjoyed our time in this cute suite. View is of ravine but very peaceful. Our only little complaint would be that the furnishings are not very comfortable to sit or sleep on. The hostess was friendly and helpful.

This place is great for 2 people. Our son unfortunately did not fit on the pull out couch as he is 6 feet tall. The unit was clean, nicely decorated, and had the items necessary for a cooking and coffee etc. Thanks for sharing your place with us :)

Spacious and calm space. I know the owners have young children, but I think I only heard them once. Incredibly quiet and beautiful space. My daughter (13) slept on the fold-down couch the first night, but found it uncomfortable/hard so she slept on a blowup mattress we brought the rest of the stay, which I would recommend for other guests to do if travelling with children. Great location. I'm certain we'll be repeat guests!

We didn't actually have any in-person contact with the property owner. I must admit I was put off by the message she sent with the access codes, as it felt like a lecture about driving slowly and being cautious for children playing. We were driving into a clearly residential neighbourhood, so of course drove at appropriate speeds. Perhaps I was just tired, but it did put me off.The only other complaint I have is that the 2nd bed (which I had the joy of sleeping on) is a couch that folds out to a flat surface to sleep on. It is hard as a rock, and was really uncomfortable to sleep on. This needs to be upgraded.Otherwise the suite is lovely, the view is lovely, and we really appreciated the opportunity to stay there.

A peaceful oasis close to downtown

This cute suite is located on a cul de sac overlooking a wooded ravine, just minutes from downtown Vernon. There's a lovely outdoor seating area where you can sit and sip coffee or afternoon refreshments. Inside, the suite is spacious and nicely decorated, with all the necessities. Sherri was most welcoming and really went above and beyond to make me extra comfortable after my early morning flight was delayed to early evening. I would definitely book again.

Good location, good kitchen, modern bathroom.

The suite was handy for my proximity to places visited. I enjoyed being able to cook meals and have laundry facilities. The host was very quick to respond. Bathtub is clean and well lit, but stopper did not plug tight, so, no bath on colder nights. Heat was a concern in the winter evenings. Space heaters were not enough when upstairs owner turned heat off or down at night. I had the impression this suite had not been used since the last review in August, some four months prior. This assumption was based on the lack of a ‘recent’ cleaning. Perhaps it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned after last guest by the looks of some things. Not picky, but, obvious ‘misses’. There is a gravel walkway down to the back, for those with mobility or heavy luggage concerns. It is not ‘entire home’, as when read further, there is a young family upstairs, which was evident throughout. Not sure how it fits four, if the pullout in living room is only for a child. VRBO doesn’t indicate clearly what currency the rate is on the listing that I can see. A 30 difference between the app’s listing and rate (higher) charged. Help, VRBO? It’s a very spacious unit in a lovely setting, beautiful view as noted. Good walking in neighbourhood. All the best. With a little more attention to above concerns, it’s a great spot.

Quiet Relaxation

I very much enjoyed my stay at this property. It was a lovely relaxing, serene and enjoyable experience. It was roomy and clean with pretty much everything I needed for my time there.
