Med bil så är det inte långt till Siena, Florens och Rom.
- Enda minuset är att det inte finns några taxibilar i Montalcino, det gör att man är beronde av en bil.

Hotellet i sig är rent och snyggt men inredningen gammal. Med lite uppfräschning skulle hotellet gott kunna bli 5 stjärnigt då personalen verkligen såg till att gästerna trivdes. Något som var väldigt trevligt var att personalen och köket hittade på lite överraskningar så att måltiderna blev varierade.
Läget utgör en bra bas för utflykter i det vackra Toscana.

“Located right at the central square of Montepulciano, this castle-like rustic hotel was the perfect spot from which to explore the town and the surrounding countryside. The manager was a very friendly woman who helped us to plan visits to vineyards, find nice bars with sunset views and more.
