Helt ok
Enkelt att checka in och bemötandet från receptionen var ok. Fick ett rum med två sängar trots att det bokades ett enkelrum. Något som kunde anmärkas på var avsaknad av luftkonditionering, detta medförde att det blev obehagligt varmt när solen lyste in genom fönstret. Bortsett från ett hål i ett av sängöverdragen var inredningen i gott skick. Renligheten var mycket god.

Fint hotell i centralt läge
Väldigt trevligt hotell, centralt beläget på ön. Gångavstånd till hamnen och ett antal restauranger runt omkring, plus hotellets egen. Lugnt och tyst, sköna sängar och ett fantastiskt mottagande från receptionisten som verkligen fick oss att känna oss välkomna, och redo för en sightseeingtur kring Hemön.

Mitt i byn
Ett trevligt hotell mitt i byn med mycket hjälpsam och trevlig personal. Allt var rent och fräscht, rummet stort och frukosten bra. Mycket trevlig personal i receptionen.

The hotel is lovely and the staff who greeted us were kind and accommodating. However, since we were the only guests for breakfast, she asked if it would be okay to take late checkout and skip breakfast. We agreed, but only because we felt embarrassed to say no. We book all our stays based entirely on breakfast being included in the room rate, and this room was more than twice the price of others in the area. We travel a lot, and review a lot of properties. Our regular rating system allots two out of five stars for a hotel’s breakfast, so as good as the property may be it can never get more than 3 stars without breakfast. Had we known there would be no breakfast, we would have booked a less expensive property and saved ourselves $200 US dollars. I’m sure it would have been at least 4 stars under different circumstances.

This is a very well maintained property with lots of conveniences, including location, parking and dining. The staff is very helpful and the restaurant is outstanding. The room was very comfortable and spacious. We would definitely return.

Wonderful property!! Lobby and restaurant are beautifully renovated. Rooms are partly updated, bathroom was totally new/ I love that they did not gut old rooms when renovating as it kept a lot of the vintage charm. Wide marble staircase with old wooden and wrought iron banisters was beautiful. The restaurant in the hotel offers a fantastic menu and both the food and the staff are wonderful. Make a reservation if the island is busy!

Great hotel, that was quiet and relaxing. Great breakfast with lots of choice. Would recommend booking dinner at Enis Kaldi restaurant located in the hotel, foods was delicious and great service.

The hotel exceeded all expectations. The room we got was better than advertised. Breakfast was excellent and the reception staff even accommodated a later checkout to match the time of our ferry departure, since it was a slow day at the hotel. The location is absolutely convenient, walkable to many places.

Best hotel on the island
Super hotel and stay. Only issue is that we were told no less than 5 times during our stay that the restaurant is not owned by the hotel. NO ICE! Give me a break. The restaurant is where breakfast is served, is open to the hotel and does have great food. Maybe the hotel should invest in their own ice machine!

We stayed in 8 hotels during our trip to Iceland. This was one of the best if not the best. It was quiet, comfortable, really clean and we’d loved the decor and local art in the public areas. The locations was convenient to everything and near parking was easy to access.

Wonderful Hotel
We loved our stay at this hotel. Honestly, the shower was the best shower we’ve ever had. We’ve talked about it repeatedly since. Haha. After a long day of sightseeing, that makes all the difference! Very nicely maintained property with modern rooms and comfortable beds. Easy to get to from the ferry and near to many restaurants and grocery stores, too!

Bon hôtel mais méthode de paiement très étrange …
Jolie chambre spacieuse . Enregistrement très rapide .par contre gros bémol au niveau du paiement . Quand on a demandé s’il fallait payer ( on a plusieurs réservations, certaines sont payées , d’autres non )la réceptionniste nous a dit que tout était payé. En partant , elle a vérifié que tout était bon . A aucun moment elle ne nous a demandé une carte de paiement . Par contre le lendemain j ai eu la désagréable surprise de voir que le montant de la chambre avait été prélevé sur ma carte Mastercard , qui avait dû servir à la réservation . Je ne conteste pas du tout le paiement , la réservation n’était certainement pas payée, mais la méthode . La carte utilisée n’est pas celle que nous aurions souhaiter utiliser pour le paiement , et surtout je n ai eu aucune info . Ma banque me prévient en principe dès qu il y a un paiement par carte , et là je n ai reçu aucun sms ..Je ne comprends pas cette curieuse façon de procéder , surtout que j avais demandé 2 fois s’il fallait payer . C’est la première fois que cela m’arrive dans un hôtel , et je voyage souvent !

We arrived at the hotel late afternoon and on arrival we were told that we could use the spa and where it was. The room was nice and we went down to the spa. When we got down there the sauna had a sign on it saying "out of order" and one of the 2 jacuzzi's was empty, so that just left 1 jacuzzi. We got into that and then found that while it was really warm the bubbles did not work. When we went to breakfast the following morning one of the staff was filling the cereal but did not say anything to us. We asked if we sit anywhere and was told we should. There was no other service at breakfast.
