“The staff was friendly and property was clean but our room smelled like urine really bad. I possibly would stay in a smaller room in future but the big room with kitchenette was very smelly of strong urine. The staff were nice though.”

“Room was clean, bathroom definitely needs a make over; the sink handles were hard to turn, and the shower appeared to have mold all around the base. Breakfast appeared to be nicely done, but we only grabbed some juice and yogurt on our way out so i cant speak for the quality of the food. The indoor pool area was okay, but the pool itself seemed to have dirt/debris on the bottom so we unfortunately avoided swimming. “This hotel is outdated. TV was tiny and did not have the capability of watching regular TV without using my phone. It was not worth the rate I paid. Through Expedia.”

“I’ve used truckstop bathrooms that were cleaner in the bathroom that we had in our room! That’s not even the worst part, the carpets need to be desperately changed. The entire room smelled of urine. It was difficult for us to even stay in the room. I would’ve left immediately but the entire town of Sandusky had been booked up. I will never say this hotel ever again. I am warning all of those who look for cleanliness, this is not the place.”

“Stay was awesome. My only suggestion to mgt is that the 1st floor back door is very loud and jaring when it closes. Can hear and feel it.in room 107 and probably beyond.”

“The hotel is in an amazing location with beautiful views of the lake, the rooms and all public areas are pristine and clean, & the staff were absolutely amazing. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant, as it's quite overpriced, the menu is quite performative, and the food wasn't that great for the price paid. It is also very small & loud if the patio is not open. That said, it did not deter from how amazing the hotel is. Just find somewhere else to eat during your stay.”

“The pool and hot tub were really nice after a long day at Cedar point. Check in was a breeze with the male assistant manager, and there were two food options within a short walk. Overall would definitely stay again.”

“Room was great.. on 2nd floor .. a lot of noise from other guest, banging on door , yelling … banging on wall … very disturbing wasn’t no fault of hotel but no one ever came to address problem this went on from 10 pm to 12:30 am.. had a hard time falling asleep .. didn’t know if crazy guest had a gun .. sounded like he was abusing his wife or girlfriend.. pretty sad”
