Perfect for a Sorrento vacation
The hotel is very close to the nice little village of Vico Equense, just a few minutes walk along a scenic road by the coast. Service was great, we had a room view a balcony offering views of the sea and the surrounding hills.

Bad treatment after check out
Very unfriendly to not be allowed to stay att hotel pool-area or beach after check out at 11 in the morning. We had 8 hours to wait before going to airport. Very rude behaviour and we will never go back to a Hotel that treat customers like this after living there for 7 nights. Beds are hard. We ordered trip to Capri via the hotel and that you should not do. We got the smallest and slowest boat you can find and the guide could not speak english.Bar expensive with extra fees when you check out.

Lovely vacation
We had it lovely here. The food from the restaurant, was ok but not great. But the hotel overall was Very good. The experience and service was outstanding for coming there as a family. Especially the view from the restaurant. Very good pool but it was a little dissapointment to the sea club (ocean) was approx. 20-30 min walk.

Mycket bra och prisvärt
Mycket bra och prisvärt hotell. Poolen är fin med fantastisk utsikt och Sea Club är kanon. Dock kostar shuttle till och från den men trapporna är bra träning om man har ork och hälsa. Frukosten är bra men hoppa över middag på restaurangen. Välj Mustafas nere i hamnen eller Signum inne i stan.

Detta hotel rekommenderar jag mer än gärna! Fantastiskt läge med en underbar utsikt både på frukosten och middagen men framför allt otroligt serviceminded personal från receptionen, restaurangen till badpojken på hotellets egna badbrygga!

Mysigt hotell med fantastisk personal!
Mysigt hotell med fantastisk personal! Bra resturang med god mat (hemmagjorda raviolin och citron-fettucinin var utmärkt). Rummet var rent och rymligt. Personalen var mycket hjälpsam, talade bra engelska och gav tips på vad man kunde göra. Poolområdet var trevligt och stranden fin. Vissa dagar (främst helgen) var det ganska trångt på stranden. Frukosten innehöll mest söta alternativ, men är ju vanligt i Sydeuropa.

Grym restaurang med härlig utsikt
Härligt hotell med riktigt grym mat på restaurangen (och vacker utsikt över havet). En lååååång trappa tar dig ner till havet, denna ger dig definitivt motion på tillbakavägen. Vi var bara vid havet en kort stund, annars hängde vi vid poolen och strosade runt i den mysiga staden.

Fantastisk service!
Allt fungerade utmärkt. Rent och snyggt. Utsikten över Neapelbukten från alla rum var strålande. Bra läge för utflykter till Sorrento, Amalfikusten, Pompeji, Neapel. Fantastisk, vänlig service. Den egna stranden var kanske ingen höjdare men poolen mycket fin.

We stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Mary and we enjoyed it very much. The rooms were nice and clean and almost everyone of the hotelstaff were great. We are a little disapointed with the food at the hotel, could have been better and one night we had to wait one hour for our pizza, but we just ate there for two nights so maybe we had bad luck...The breakfast was OK and it was very nice to sit out on the terrace and enjoy the marvellous view in the morning. The location was good, we came by train and it was very easy to reach Pompei and Sorrento and it took about one hour to go by train in to Napoli. The local train were cheap too, about 2 Euro to Napoli and 1,5 to Pompei. Don´t bother to take the boat-trip Possitano-Amalfi-Capri, expensive, 37 Euro,and very crowded, go to Sorrento harbour and choose another trip if you must, they have trips for 24 Euro. The pool area was very nice, especially this time when it was about 35* C in the shadow and this African wind blowing!!! Over all a very nice stay!

Great selection of hot and cold for breakfast and plenty of space to eat so it didn’t feel overwhelmingly busy like some hotels. Public areas were always being cleaned and our room was immaculate on arrival and when we returned from a day’s exploring. Reception staff extremely helpful, organising a hire car which was delivered within an hour of our first enquiry and also giving advice about excursions/taxis etc. Thoroughly recommend this hotel

The staff was excellent and the service was exceptional. Room service was outstanding as was the breakfast. It was easy to walk to town for exploring shops and restaurants and the view from our room was lovely. We did valet parking which was very convenient.

Beautiful hotel with breathtaking views! Staff is amazing and helpful. The hotel restaurant is the best in the entire town as well. Close to EVERYTHING in Vico Equense (walking distance) including the train station. Book this hotel and relax…you made the right choice.

Hotel is great. Breakfast buffet has a big variety of food. The restaurant is good but also there are plenty of dining options that are walkable in town. The train station is a short 10min walk which will take you to Sorrento or Naples. On travel days we chose to have the hotel book us a driver to Naples train station. The hotel also have day trips and guide available. I agree with another review..h Jung a water kettle in the room was the only thing missing. It would be nice to have the option to make tea or coffee between eating hours. maybe the hotel will consider it in the future.

Fantastic stay at the hotel. Went for our honeymoon for a short break. Location is perfect for sorrento and pompei visits. Food was delicious. Breakfast options have lots of choice and extensive drinks menu. Staff were amazing and very friendly and helpful. Everyone we encounted was amazing in particular mario who works on the bar. There was also another man, didnt catch his name, wears glasses and does evenings and mornings who was super friendly

We returned to the Hotel Mary after staying there just before the pandemic because we thoroughly enjoyed our previous stay. We were pleased to find that the hotel had been updated very nicely. The room was very comfortable, the views from our sea view room and the breakfast area were breathtaking. The hotel’s location in Vico Equense is preferable to us over a hotel in the busier Sorrento because it is quiet and easy to navigate the town, and within an easy (and very scenic) walk to the train station to affordably get to Sorrento, Pompei, and Naples. The town has everything you would need during a stay. The hotel offers free valet parking, which is an amazing perk because street parking is difficult. The breakfast buffet puts others to shame with just about everything you might want. My only request would be for some more vegan specific options like plant based milk, but there are enough options to please just about everyone- fruits, breads, meats, beautiful pastries, cheeses, cereal, spreads, juices, coffee, yogurt, cappuccinos, eggs, etc. The staff is multi-lingual and very helpful with anything you need. The bed was comfortable and the facilities very clean and modern. I would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to visit the Sorrento peninsula.

A wonderful sea view, a large room, simply furnished but clean. On the other hand, we regret the catastrophic sound insulation. You can hear the neighboring rooms. The breakfast is the best we have had in Europe, the staff is super friendly. An employee drives your car into the neighboring parking lot. The only downside, contrary to Expedia booking, was the paid wellness area and not allowed for small children. And that is Expedia´s responsibility to describe all condition exactly. The rainy weekend made this all the more unfortunate.
