“I've stayed at Manuela's 4 times now on each trip to Lagos and it's become my home away from home. I love the place. It's quiet and understated yet has all you need- pool, gym, spa and best of all an authentic Italian restaurant that has great pizza and pasta dishes... the owner is Italian and eats there with his Italian mom every night... their high standards ensure the finest imported Italian ingredients and delicious, perfectly cooked food... as well as liquors (grappa!) and excellent...

“I was too busy with meetings to try breakfast so cannot give any comments on that or food service. Before arriving I had serious reservations based on the affordable price, I worried that it would be a few nights of PAIN and DISCOMFORT. I was pleasantly surprised by the warmth of Reception Team on arrival, particularly Ms. Blessing - all staff are doing their best - for this price level you are getting the equivalent of any major city’s 3 star apart/hotel style comfort. Good value, everything...

“The reception had me wait for hours before I got my room. They said they couldn't see my booking in their system and they were not willing to help me even when I showed them my booking confirmation and receipt showing that I had payed. They did not make any effort to solve the problem and after several hours my booking showed up in their system, after that I finally got my room. Really disappointed with the lack of service and willingness to give me as a guest a good welcome.”

“Blowfish Hotel is all it promises to be; good environment, friendly and courteous staff. I look forward to staying there again in future, and would gladly recommend it to anyone. If I could make one tine criticism, that would be to have a bedside lamp, so I don't have to get up to switch off the light after reading in bed.”

“We had an amazing stay. The staff was great and helpful. The AC was nit blowing as strong as i wanted but the manager promptly switch us rooms and it was perfect AC. The room was beautiful and spacious. The breakfast was tasty. After we ate we played a nice game of pool table and my husband enjoyed the soccer game at the same time. The pool was just what i needed for a hot day! I highly recommend. ”
