âThe check in was quick and thorough, Donna was very down to earth and pleasant . She runs a beautiful Old Victorian house that is so clean and comfortable. Itâs extremely welcoming from the first step you take inside the foyer. Breakfast was delicious and the conversation around the table with the other guests and Donna was great! Itâs really a small world when you get chatting. We havenât been BnB guests in the past, but this trip to the east coast has changed our way of thinking. â

âThe staff were incredibly hospitable and thoughtful. The breakfasts were filling. The room was clean and well stocked.
The only call out I have is that since it is a century home, there are no elevators. Ensure that you double check that the room is on the ground floor if you have difficulty climbing steep stairs.
The actual property is very close to both the waterâs edge as well as downtown Charlottetown. Overall, a very enjoyable stay!

âCindy made us feel very welcome and answered all our questions and gave great recommendations for dining. The breakfast was terrific I think Cindy must work 24/7 as she was always around if we needed something. Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to any friends planning to visit the area!â

âA lovely spot to stay when visiting Charlottetown. The Innâs location near the harbour makes it an ideal location. Visitors are walking distance from city highlights, parks and shopping. The hosts, Katherine and Frank, were very accommodating when a small travel plan changed. A hot breakfast was served along side a wide selection of pastries, fruit, cereals and yogurt. â

âUnique historic property with central location and free parking. Welcoming to children and friendly staff. Delicious breakfast and exceptionally clean rooms. â
âThe Elmwood is an enchanting place to rest our vacation weary bodies. The Violet, the owner, was very accomodating to our ask for an extention to our stay. Both of the rooms we stayed in were very beautiful and full of memories of a past life with past occupants of the Inn.
This is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone visiting the Charlottetown areaâ
