It is located Vienna’s 12th district, Meidling, is a traditionally urban area with many residential buildings giving you a real local vibe. With public transport you can however easily reach the city center. The area is also known for its many churches and parks, such as the Steinbauerpark right opposite of the apartment and the very well-known parks of Schloss Schonbrunn, edging the 12th district on the western side. Some local gems are the Meidlinger market, offering fresh foods, cozy cafes and hip eateries and a farmer’s market on Saturdays, and the Theresienbad, the oldest still in-use swimming pool in Vienna. Some local cafes and bars not to miss are Café Raimann, Café Nahid and Biergasthof Otto.
