Fantastic location, restaurants, groceries close by.
The apartment was well equipped, microwave, dishwasher and washer. It’s spacious, beds were comfortable too. Location was so convenient, you could walk, take the subway and even take the tram. The Christmas markets added a magical touch. Host was very accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Central spot
Special place right in the heart of Vienna. A few minutes walk to Stephansplatz with the Cathedral and Xmas markets. Felt like we were staying in ‘old’ Vienna. The 3rd floor apartment is large, bright and quiet. The lift is a bonus. Just around the corner are supermarkets, train stations and plenty of restaurants. So you can walk most places or easily catch a train for a couple of euros. Karl was great with communication and local recommendations.

Hot stay in Vienna
Very nice flat - large, well decorated, great location. Looks like pictures. It would be helpful if host provided toiletries. We were in Vienna during a heat wave - it reached above 90F every day. The flat is not air conditioned. It was very hot and still. Host should put a few inexpensive fans in the flat for hot days. I would not book the flat if you expect temperatures to exceed 85F.

The best of Vienna
We enjoyed this wonderful apartment for a whole week, with our family with three small children. The apartment is beautiful; the picture in the listing don’t do it justice. The location is wonderfully central, right in the middle of all the history. It is clean and well-main, with all the amenities. The owner was attentive and helpful. It could not have been a better stay.

Perfect place for our family.

Karl Rocks!
Karl communicated consistently in advance of our arrival. He sent perfect directions to the apartment that included detailed maps. We had taken a couple of long flights to arrive in Vienna, and he was waiting at the apartment even though it was later in the evening. The apartment is a good size and fully equipped. We mostly walked around the city, but it's very close to Mitte, where there are lots of shops and train stops to get anywhere in the city and to the airport. Lots of restaurants nearby, and we loved walking through Stadt Park. Around the corner from the apartment is Billabong, an Australian pub. They're incredibly nice there. Ask for Nick. I highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Vienna.

Excellente expérience. L’appartement de Karl est vraiment agréable, il n’y manque rien pour s’y sentir chez soi et il est admirablement situé : à 5 mn à pieds de la gare où arrive le train venant de l’aéroport et à moins d’1 quart d’heure des sites à visiter. A recommander chaleureusement.

Geschmackvolle Ferienwohnung mit kurzen Wegen
Die Wohnung war sehr sauber (man konnte sogar barfuß laufen) und stilvoll eingerichtet. Der Vermieter Herr P. hat uns alles gut erklärt. Es gab alle möglichen Küchengeräte, vom Sparschäler über den Toaster bis zum Sieb... Die Heizung konnte nach Bedarf reguliert werden. Zu Fuß kann man den Stephansdom erreichen, und eine U-Bahn-Station (Stubentor) ist direkt um die Ecke, ebenso wie ein Spar-Lebensmittelhandel. Gegenüber liegt der Stadtpark, in dem man sonnige Stunden entspannt verbringen kann. Café Prückl und das MAK sind weitere Stationen, die man in fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreichen kann.

Boa localização, sala com espaço agradável mas a precisar de renovaçao. Roupa de cama pouco cuidada e higienizada. No quarto pequeno havia coisas em cima do roupeiro com pó tornando o ambiente pouco agradável.

Eine Ferienwohnung ist kein Hotel. Fast allen Gästen gefallen die Möbel. Die Lage der Wohnung ist einmalig. Alles ist sauber und desinfiziert. Die Bettwäsche kommt gebügelt direkt aus der Putzerei. Auf dem Schrank liegt das Futon für das Notbett, zusammengerollt in einem Stoffsack. Das hat den Gast gestört?

FW in der Innenstadt
FW gut gelegen in der Innenstadt. Cafehäuser Restaurants Museen historische Stadt in der Nähe. Alle Verkehrsmittel an der Haustür. Das wahre Leben findet aber auBerhalb des Ringes statt. Ist auch leicht zu erreichen. Weinberge und Wald an der Endstation der StraBenbahn D. Gute Matrazen in den ruhigen Schlafzimmern ( etwas dunkel) Sehr angenehme raümige Wohnung. Sonniges groBes(ein biBchen lautes) Wohnzimmer. Nur kleine Supermärkte in der Nähe. Richtige Märkte sind nur per U-bahn zu erreichen

Echtes Zuhause im Zentrum von Wien
Eine wunderschöne Wohnung, die alles hat, was man braucht, auch wenn man länger bleibt. Alles ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. In Wollzeile (der ersten Parallel Straße) kann man alles finden, was man sich wünschen kann: inkl. Bio Bäckerei und Bio Restaurant, Reformhäuser, Teehaus und Sonnentor Laden usw.

New Year in Vienna
Spacious flat (small 2nd bedroom) excellently situated for all the sights. Very warm and comfortable and the only thing missing is an oven though there is a microwave oven. Would definitely like to rent it again.

Comfortable and convenient
We enjoyed our stay and found this flat quite comfortable for our family of four. The location is so very convenient both for walking and using public transportation in and outside the Ringstrasse (station is just steps away) - very easy access to all you want to do and see in Vienna. Building is secure. Good wi-fi. Comfortable beds. We visited in November, the apartment was well heated, and we had no issue with exterior noise as some others have previously. The only other previous comment I took note of was the shower head, but all one has to do is adjust it properly and there are no issues with it. The one very minor issue I noted was that the bath towels are a little stiff b/c there is no clothes dryer (only washer) in the flat, however that can be resolved with a bit of fabric softener to wash them with. Too, they soften after the first use. Overall very great place and Karl was readily available and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location to many , museums , historical sights , grocery stores, retail shops and restaurants , plus only one half block from the Metro ( U) , trams, buses and taxi. The Stadtpark a 19th century public park was close by , too. A washer , dishwasher and a modern kitchen were included.

Site idéal et attention à nos besoins
Au-delà des qualités de l’appartement et de sa localisation, on ne peut plus idéale (métro, tramway, supermarché et sites à visiter à proximité), le séjour fut facilité par la courtoisie et l'attention qu'a portée le propriétaire à nos besoins. Contrairement aux tendances actuelles de la clé laissée avec un code dans un coin obscur, il y a eu un humain pour nous accueillir et nous guider; il est impossible d'en mesurer l'importance, mais nous devons reconnaître les bienfaits.

Good location, everything you need
Great location, near a subway/tram station, everything in reach within 15-20 min walks if you don't use the subway or trams. There is everything you need in the apartment. We were there during hot summer days, and, yes, we had to open the windows in the evening and night to get some fresh air in. Unlike the last comment before us; We did NOT have problem with excessive banging or crashing... Yes, people put their garbage and recycling in the bin after diner, around 9 pm or when they leave for work in the morning around 7 am. Yes, garbage trucks takes the glass recycling and trash around 8-9 am.. but we think that it is normal.. if you don't, then don't rent a place where you may have to open the windows in the city (no AC, it is written) or rent a country house.. It is a city, it is normal! The streets were quiet between 9-10 pm to 6am, like in any city. That makes a good 8+ hrs sleep! Yes, the tv is kinda old.. but your in Vienna... you are not there to watch tv.. and a big flat screen would not fit in the apartment style.. Really great place to stay.

God Lejlighed...
Rigtig god ferielejlighed lige i centrum af Wien... Lejligheden indeholder alt, hvad man har brug for... Man føler sig faktisk ret hurtigt hjemme og har en god Base til, at udforske Wien, som er en fantastisk flot og utrolig 'ren' by i forhold til andre Storbyer, som vi har besøgt i europa! Og Udlejeren Karl er en rigtig behagelig og imødekommende mand. Hjælpsom og god til, at fortælle om nærmeste indkøbssteder og seværdigheder...

Great location, but very noisey and no AC
We are a family of 5 that stayed in this unit for 4 nights in the beginning of July. First, the checking process was simple. Karl met us on-time and answered all our questions. He was very friendly. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed. The location in also fantastic. Very close to a metro stop & also easy walking distance to the city center, restaurants, etc. The big issue we had with the unit had to do with the no AC & street noise. As I recall, the listing had "no AC" on it, so we were aware going into the stay. We figured we'd be able to leave the windows open, get a breeze going, temps are usually in the mid to low 60s, no problem. What we were not prepared for was the amount of street noise. We're a family that lives in a condo in an urban setting. All of us are used to the sounds of a city. The amount of noise coming from the street just outside the apartment was enormous. Additionally, the back bedrooms that face an inner courtyard had a huge amount of noise. Lots of banging and crashing sounds. The problem was that if you left the windows open to cool off the apartment, you'd have to deal with extremely loud street noise. If you closed the windows, it helped with the noise significantly, but the apartment got extremely hot. Up to 80 degrees two of four nights (It was very hot in Europe at the time). On the cooler nights, it only got a few degrees cooler than 80 in the apartment. We kept going back and forth between opening the windows to cool off the apartment and then closing them again to not deal with the street noise. Basically we ended up with 4 nights of little to no sleep for a family of 5. Very challenging. I'm sure this would be a great place to stay in the winter time when you can keep the windows closed throughout the night, but I just can't recommend it for a summer visit. A few little things that i think would help out tremendously are: Replacing the towels: They were very old and coarse. Replace the TV: We didn't watch hardly any TV, but it's an old school tube TV. Just gives a bad impression of the apartment. Shower Head Knob: The only bathroom has a tub with a hand-held showerhead. There is a knob to put the showerhead on so you can take an actual shower, but it's in the middle of the tub. Makes it difficult to take a shower. Putting an additional knob at the head of the shower would be very helpful.
