Great location, not 2-bedroom
The good: -- Great location, as advertised. Really close to the U-Bahn, which is easy to learn, and close to many tourist attractions, like the Museum Quarter, the Opera House, and the stunningly beautiful Karlskirche (St. Charles Church) -- Very secure: you need a key to get in the outer door and the apartment door. -- Well-stocked with dishwasher and laundry detergents -- Clean -- Lots of windows/doors to let fresh air in, though the view is to a wall on the other side of the building -- Responsive landlord -- Super fast elevator (if small) The bad: -- Not a 2-bedroom apartment. It is a 1-bedroom, with multiple options for people to sleep in the living room/dining room area. The large walk-in closet stores extra mattresses, but renters will have to share the bedroom space to get to the closet or the bathroom (which is where the laundry machine and shower are). -- The only toilet is next to the front door. There is no toilet in the actual bathroom. -- Shower stall is very small and there is nowhere to place shampoo bottles, soap, etc. This could easily be amended. -- Hard bed and the only covers are two small duvets (no top sheets). -- No air conditioning. This didn't matter for April, but most likely would matter a lot in the summer months.
