"Pater Meus was amazing. Very clean, had all necessities. I would recommend grabbing a pack of water and food from nearby supermarket for late/early snacks as we play at the table this place is remote and not easy walk for conveniences when everything is closed. Beautiful grounds, loved the donkey and cats around the property. The views from the pool pad were great! "

"The accommodations was nice, and located within walking distance to Cefalu's main attractions. The management was quick to respond to any issues we had with regards to problems. My wife needed wifi service which they provided, but the quality of their wifi was bad. Their staff promised to fix it, but never followed through. We had wifi, but the bandwidth only allowed us to check out email. We needed to find a restaurant or other facilities to surf the web. "

"First thing to say is you'll probably need a car as it's about a 40 minute walk to Castelbuono - and coming back is quite steep walking. The upside of that is you are in a very tranquil location. It's idlyllic. Hardly a sound apart from birdsong and the occasional gentle charming clang of a cowbell as (presumably) some nearby cows were being led out to pasture I booked this place because its advert focused on tranquility - and it really lived up to that. "The interior of the villa is rustic with a very welcoming wood burning fireplace which was tended by the caretaker morning and night. There were two fully equipped kitchens, one inside and one outside. There were plenty of dishes and utensils for large group of people. "This property gave us and a fellow family lots of space to enjoy the Sicilian sun. The pool was great as was the view towards the surrounding hills and the sea. It was nice to experience a somewhat cooler climate than down the sea. On the downside, it took us half an hour to drive up and down the hill to get fresh bread in the morning. The property is somewhat run-down with the odd gadget not working. The owner tried to fix everything though. This is not a luxury property but I would recommend...

"The only negative aspect about this property is the fact that it's in the ZTL area. You can not drive there. You'll need to leave your car somewhere away and walk there. However, besides this, it's a lovely place to stay! It's in the heart of the historic center, near to dozens of restaurants, 4min walking to the Cathedral, 3min from the beach. Perfect place in Cefalu. "

"This our second visit and loved it each time. Everyone made you feel so welcome and did their very best to make sure you have a great holiday. Great selection on offer at breakfast freshly made on the premises and plenty of it. They have a good selection of free to use beach beds , kayaks etc.Apartments serviced daily. Fantastic location with views to die for . all from your own large private verandah. Thanks once again to everyone at Blue Bay"

"The property is a little bit dated but kept very clean. All the staff is amazing! Since our arrival they were so kind to walk to the parking lot to show us exactly where to park. So helpful and gladly to help to resolve with any issues you might have. Also the location is absolutely the best!! And best breakfast I had in Sicily!"
