“I wasn’t sure what to expect from a refurbished YMCA. This place blew me away. We had a beautiful king bedroom with a sitting area overlooking the main street. The room was huge. The bathroom, with double sinks, great shower and bathrobes, were a huge plus. Jim Thorpe is a great little town. The biggest complaint I hear is the lack of parking. No problem, when staying at the Y, off-street parking is provided! The Y on Broadway is centrally located and walkable to just about everything Jim...

“The Mahoning Inn has you sign a form stating that you will not smoke in the room or $150 fee will be charged, which is fine because we don’t smoke but the room they gave us smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. I refused the room due to the heavy cigarette smell and they gave me a different room that did not have a cigarette odor, but still had a very musty smell. The bathroom is extremely outdated and shabby looking. There were several thick long dark hairs on the inside of the shower curtain,...

“We absolutely loved our stay at The Belle Victoria! It’s a charming B&B that is quiet, clean, and cozy, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Our hostess, Naomi, was wonderful and very attentive, always making sure everything was just right. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in making everyone feel welcome. Breakfast is homemade and prepared fresh on the spot. It was absolutely delicious and a wonderful way to start the day! The...

“Amazing stay. Entire penthouse was clean. Property is beautiful. We will return next year. If any questions or concerns Carolee was always quick to respond by text or call. Youve got all you need at Houser's crossing.”

“Extremely run down and dirty. Peeling paint bathroom ceiling, moldy shower, terrible breakfast. Frozen cold pancakes and frozen sausage. Towels smelled like mildew. No heat and inn keeper even said they didn’t have the heat serviced.. do not come here!”

“Clean and comfortable bed. Nothing fancy but a good value.”

“Super spacious apartment in a great location located about 8 minutes from Jim Thorpe! Host was very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!”
