“Room was clean. Never saw any staff. Power was out due to storm for most of our stay. Generator power was used and was sufficient. Could not use tv until final day. Did speak on phone to staff but was not able to resolve. This could have been due to storm. No one ever resupplied our room after first night with coffee, creamer etc. We did go into the common room for more creamer ourselves.”

“The property was not what I initially expected, but in a good way. Its not a hotel. these are individual "suites" that open up to the back deck, or to the front. The suites are quite large, which was very nice for my family. Huge bathroom, and a large comfortable foldout couch. Window fans are provided, which enabled us to enjoy the cool fresh air from Stonington! The back deck is huge, tons of room to relax and take in the harbor. “The Optimist guesthouse was modern yet full of history and original mill touches. Very clean, bed was comfy and the location couldn’t be beat! Extra special was the mini gym and sauna. Also loved having 40 Paper steps away in single digit weather. We were in Camden to visit friends and see a show at Camden Opera House. We typically stay at The Lord Camden Inn but this was more private and the outdoor deck will be wonderful in warmer weather. We will be back! Also Ryan was very responsive when we...
