The dinner in the restaurant was excellent as well, and as a guest at the hotel you get the chance to go on the complimentary Battlement guided tour. It's well worth a stay and I'll definitely come back some day. â
âA very clean and comfortable place. The rooms were very nice and the beds quite comfortable. The bathrooms were up to date and there was plenty of hot water. The pub next door was very hand for a drink and breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff. â

âA change of plans took me to Hexham and the Beaumont hotel for what was to be a very pleasant experience. Arrived two hours early and was only looking to store my bagage as I fully expected to be asked to wait until regular check-in was open. Instead the hotel went the extra mile and had my room ready in a bit more than half an hour. And the Abbey and the pleasant park just across the road it was very easy to spend those 30 minutes in relaxing way.

âAbsolutely amazing 3 night stay. Lovely village, lovely warm welcome, lovely couple who run the sun inn and they couldnt do enough for you to make sure our stay was comfortable and fantastic. Very dog friendly which was fantastic too. We had meals every night here at the sun inn as the food was fantastic. Yes limited menu, but we always found something tasty to order. They do fantastic sunday roasts too. Owners are italian, and the italian food as well as english food on the menu were super...
âDid an overnight stay as a couple on the way back down to Nottinghamshire from Scotland. Wd could not fault the room and the service for the price and the restuarant wad great value wigh good quality too. Breakfast was all you could hope for: we will definitely use again when we ard in the area.â

"PÄ grund av en akut kallelse till hjÀrtoperation blev det en lÄng och emotionell dag som tog vÀldigt mycket energi. Utan att ha nÄgot bestÀmt boende löste vi det och Àr sÄ otroligt tacksamma för bemötandet vi fick hÀr av Kristina och hennes kollegor i receptionen. De mÀrkte snabbt att vi var i behov av att bara fÄ andas och hÀmta igen oss och gav verkligen allt och lite till för att visa vilka förstÄende och empatiska mÀnniskor de var.
Dagen efter fick den opererade vila ut pÄ rummet extra lÀnge medans barnen fick vara och leka i poolen. VÀlbehövligt och tacksamt för alla inblandade!
