âThe hosts were very communicative and welcoming before, during, and after our stay. The front yard was well lit, and good for taking our pups out at night. I was grateful to find somewhere available over Christmas that accepted two dogs. The kitchen was well-equipped and reasonably clean. This is a pet-friendy rental near the beach, the overall cleanliness of the unit was perhaps reflective of that. The house is right off of a busy road in a neighborhood with varied levels of upkeep.â

âIt reminded me of my uncle's beachfront home in the 70's in Md. Nothing fancy but comfortable, private and a lot of good memories. Very nice beach is so close to the house and this location is convenient to get to everything. Make sure you try the steamed crabs at Graham and Rollins' Hampton Seafood market just 12 miles away.â

âWe were in town for a conference and did not get to spend as much time at the property as weâd have liked. But the quiet, the views, the pond, the horses, the historical house and the hospitality of the owner are all everything we could have asked for in a quiet getaway. We will definitely be back!â
