"I arrived a bit late for check-in and was told that my girlfriend and I couldn’t get the king-size bed we had booked. Instead, we were offered two single beds, which was honestly pretty frustrating. They mentioned that a room with a king-size bed would maybe be available the next day, but they didn’t offer any temporary upgrade. In my opinion, that should’ve been the obvious solution when you can’t provide what the guest has already paid for.
So, I ended up paying an additional 3,900 pesos to upgrade to a suite for one night.
The next day they managed to get us into a Premium Room with a king-size bed, and the room transfer was handled really well. I was initially told to check out at 12, but they had the new room ready within an hour. Big ups for that!
I just wanted to point out that the start of our stay was a little frustrating, but I have to admit that I’m SUPER happy with the service and the way the staff handled everything afterward. It’s probably the best-located hotel if you want quick access to the beach, and the staff are just incredibly sweet.
The only thing that brings the rating down a bit is the breakfast. It felt pretty chaotic, and even though they also offered an à la carte breakfast, I wasn’t really convinced by it.
What makes the hotel also five stars was the transporation to the airport which is, in my 25 years of visiting Boracay, the best transportation I’ve ever had!!!!"
