The close proximity to Lake Edersee offers water lovers of all ages many opportunities for swimming, splashing, surfing, diving and water skiing. Harbshausen - "The gateway to the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park" - is the ideal starting point for hikers and cyclists and has a very well-developed network of hiking and cycling trails. Shopping facilities, a doctor and dentist can be found in Vöhl, approx. 12 km away.
