“The location is good and we have stayed at this property several times when visiting Shreveport. Unfortunately, we will not be staying at this property anymore. The water pressure is terrible (like non-existence from the sink), the bed was uncomfortable, and the air conditioner was loud.”

“Elevators on the main floor were not working. Apparently from what we were told they have been out of service for over a month. Room was comfortable and clean. Rust on wall in shower. Very friendly and helpful staff at check in.”

“this is a safe feeling area for the down town location. we loved the furnished kitchen and full refrigerator -and the breakfast was excellent! lots of parking -even for our trailers. ”

“It was surprisingly clean and very large rooms. Bartenders by the pool were not interested in being there. Front desk were efficient but when we arrived early for check in they would just give canned answers and weren’t interested in helping or providing personalized customer support. But honestly would still go back because the music venue is great and so were the rooms.”

“We had stayed at a different hotel the night before (when this location was sold out) and it was less than ideal. We were welcomed from the moment we stepped on the Marriott property and took away so much stress from what had been a pretty hectic arrival into Shreveport. Mercedes at the front desk was absolutely amazing in helping get our room prepared and secured early for us, answer questions and making sure we had everything we needed. “Our stat was great! Clean rooms and friendly staff.”

“We had to switch rooms upon arrival due to plumbing not working. The second room was small and very out dated. The carpets were stained. We got stuck in the very slow poorly maintained elevator. The restaurant closed at 9pm. The hallways smelt like weed.”

“There’s a few spots to eat nearby Whataburger McDonald’s Subway but there’s things if you’re willing to drive a few miles down the road. Boardwalk should be taken off as a scenery because more than half of the stores are closed.”
