With Winter Storm Fern targeting the Waco area and much of the U.S., the owner refused to allow us a refund, insisting the storm would not be an issue—despite widespread weather alerts and government travel warnings. We attempted to contact the owner multiple times starting five days before the storm through the app and VRBO with no resolution. Thankfully, we did not check in, as the area was later crippled: airports, churches, schools, and most businesses were closed due to record-low temperatures and ice, compounded by limited local infrastructure. Then, we received a message from the owner stating the home’s plumbing was not equipped for this type of weather. That and their unwillingness to refund during a national emergency may explain the high vacancy rate.Renters beware—this owner showed a clear disregard for guest safety.

The kitchen was fully equipped and included K-cups for coffee. Dishwasher worked well. Rooms were comfortable and well furnished. Outdoor including seating for everyone. Neighborhood felt safe and inviting with others out for walks. I appreciated the quick response when we requested a change to move in a day earlier and received concurrence. Thanks for the enjoyable stay.

Great place to stay for a group

We stayed over the Easter weekend with our family . Four bedrooms with king sized beds adjoining bathrooms and large closets were perfect for our group .The back yard and large driveway space were great for kids .

Game Weekend

We had a fantastic weekend stay! The location was perfect—close to everything we needed while still offering a quiet place. Every room had a comfortable king-size bed, which made our stay even more relaxing. The property was spotless, well-maintained, and stocked with all the essentials. Communication with the property management was seamless and timely, making check-in and any questions a breeze. Highly recommend for an stress-free getaway!

Well appointed amenities

Each room had its own full bathroom, and the sizes of the bedrooms were well suited their king beds. The main living area adequate for our needs, and the kitchen had everything we needed our two-night stay. This would be an excellent place for a to stay and take advantage of the backyard as well.

Worked for what we needed

The house definitely needs some work and is not in the best neighborhood. There was a lot of noise and yelling during the night. The house is very centrally located to everything you may want to do in Waco so that was a plus. The backyard was great but with all of the yelling after dark we did not end up spending anytime out there once the sun went down. Since it was 4 women and no men in our group we just felt saver being inside after dark.

A few suggestions

Please include the WiFi and password and how to operate the TVs plus please charge the remotes. on the information sheet. Consider putting a table even if you have to take out a sofa, it’s very hard to get 8 persons to seat down and eat, plus we had games that require a table. Put hooks on the bathrooms so we can Can hang out towels. Check one upstairs bedroom they is a leak. The 11 step needs to be fixed our shoes kept catching almost had a person fall. Other than that it was great Joe

Amazing place to stay!

This was a great rental house! It was exactly what we needed - 4 nice sized bedrooms with king sized beds, each with an en suite bathroom, plus an additional full size bunk bed. My family of 7 adults and 1 teenager were very comfortable. The location is close to the Baylor campus and to the Magnolia Silos. The kitchen was well stocked. I really enjoyed the unexpected Christmas decorations and the nice basket of snacks. I highly recommend this home if you're looking for a place to rent in the Waco area. I hope to visit again soon!

Best all around

We have stayed at alot of rental houses and this was one of our favorites! It was in a great location, close to Baylor and Magnolia. The house was clean and decorated so cute. It had all of the necessities ready for us and even some extras. We enjoyed the outdoor picnic tables and playing cornhole. We will definitely be staying here again!
